looks like it should have come stock that way and I want to try it myself. But I have to ask, and I know its a biased question, but how does it ride on the road?

Part of the reason I chose the RR over the BR is I hated the way the BR rode on pavement, it felt so disconnected and jiggly, like the body was going to fall off the frame at any moment. The RR drives 90% like a regular sedan on the road, I am only made aware that I am in a body on frame truck when I hit severe road imperfections.
I feel it rides almost as tight as it does with 285s.. like 95%. I think it will depend on you choice of tire. Funny thing is my gas mileage actually improved on the highway.

Interesting about the MPG. It is likely an error in the calculation, did you re-adjust your road speed for larger tires through Forscan?

I'm not quite on the 35" tire train YET, still on stock 33" KO3's, but I'm getting more and more tempted to go to 285/75R17's as an intermediate step, then finally once it's paid off go to a 35x11.5 setup and turn the truck into a dedicated off roader.

Right now, it does double duty as a utility vehicle and travel companion for numerous family outings, so I don't want to risk powertrain reliability and tank my fuel mileage as I do a lot of highway cruising, plus, on-road, the Pro Cal + 25.2lb Method 705's on stock tires makes for very "zesty" ride!

Truck looks good. I’m going with 295x70s on mine. Even with a 2.5 front end lift a true 35 is going to rub if flexed hard.

@PCDan1, I used the FordRangerLifts.com 2"/1" Kit from Robby Woolworth, put on AMP 12.50x35 R/T Tires (a true 34.8"), and wheeled this in Silverton for a week. I never had a rub and didn't do any trimming. I replaced the stock crash bars with the ReadyLift Anti Intrusion bars, and even added the Splash Guards and no rubbing on the fenders, body, or splash guards. Granted, we didn't do anything like Pritchett Canyon in Moab, but it was flexed on some of the trails on occasion. I was pleasantly surprised. Robby Woolworth is a decades long off-road racer and really knows about these vehicles, he will also take the time to talk to you if you call him, very refreshing in the age of AI.
