10K mile oil changes

5K intervals are as much as I can mentally cope with; on my MK8 GTI I had prior to the RR, I would do an oil change every 5K and let the dealership do their 10K service interval, will probably do the same with this vehicle as well.

I've been changing oil at the dealer every 3000 to 3500 miles. I'm so use to 3000 miles with my older cars. It's such a critical item that need to be clean.

Why spend all that money on a beautiful truck and skimp on oil change intervals? Every 5K, OEM spec.

I'm with the majority here...5,000 mile intervals. My dealer only charges $66, so I let them change it. I'm retired, so I harass my sales consultant and eat their snacks while I'm there.

I don’t know about 10k on these trucks.
I think mine has ask for oil change intervals at 7500 miles.
I tend to let the trucks personal and in my business fleet determine when oil changes are needed.
‘I never keep personal trucks more than 30-50k miles. Business trucks I have some over 130k on them never lost a motor in any brand of truck, I actually have all brands in the business fleet, Ford, GM, Toyota, Ram, Nissan. Well on second thought I had a defective engine in a Nissan years ago, it was covered under the factory warranty. I think that was more of a fluke 1 off deal, I had 14 of them all with that same engine, only had the 1 failure.

Done every 5k on my vehicles for a while now. The valve train on my last truck looked spotless at 160k miles.
