Are there any issues with going to a 2.5" on the front... UCAs, angle??
Or should I go with a 2" instead.
Not putting huge tires (probably 265 70 17's) - just want more clearance up front.

mine is not a raptor but i got the 2.5" spacers for the front. i wish i had done a 2" spacer though. 2.5 is just a bit to tall and i had to do a 1" shackle kit on the back to make it look normal instead of appearing front high

edit: i guess i should add pics. this is 2.5 front and 1 inch back

Personally I went with a 1" (Rangerlift). I had seen too many 2.5" levels look to high in the front. A truly "levelled" truck will tend to look a little high in my opinion. And watch out for the Ready-Lift 1.5", as the block size is really 1.5" which means it lifts the front about 2.5" at least. Most level blocks are about 1/2 the size of the desired lift due to front end geometry. Ready-Lift should really clarify this.

If you are only going up a size or two, you don't need too much. I put on 265/70R18's, which are about a 32.5" tire. Before the level, regardless of tires, my front end was about 2.5" lower in the front. After the 1" level, I still have 1 1/4". I also put a hard tonneau and a rubber bed mat, so that also helps take a little bit of rake out (about 1/4").

Here are before and after shots. It's subtle, but it looks perfect to me, and involved very little alignment changes.

2.5" Superlift. Comes with longer tie rods I believe.

This is 2 1/2" lift from MotoFab. IMO it's a bit too high and feel I should have gone with 2"
That's Rough Country UCAs. They are OEM spec and don't add or take away from camber adjustment. You don't need new UCAs with 2 1/2" or less, I just wanted the red to pop out. And they are less than $400.

I don't think anyone mentioned - v6 and i4 Rangers respond differently. I think you need more front lift on a v6 truck for leveling vs i4?

Just something to keep in mind. If you're only going to a 265/70R17 tire from the stock you don't actually need a lift at all. There's enough room for that upsize to fit without any change. Of course, if you like the look then by all means carry on, just know it isn't required.

Ya I thought so too, but when I looked at the 2.3L vs my 2.7, they looked lower, so maybe different front spring rates? Who knows, they all seem to react differently.

They are Bridgestone Dueler Ascent A/Ts. I’ve had them on my bigger trucks in an LT and really liked them. They are an “On-Road” All Terrain so kinda quiet.
