I'd be curious as to where you heard about the hybrid option, Ford has contended all along that a US hybrid Ranger is NOT an option. Apparently we already have too many hybrid offerings in the US. In Jan 2026 Ford news releases and shareholder briefs "Ford made it clear that the Ranger PHEV “is only available for select global markets outside of North America, where we are seeing stronger demand for this powertrain.” Ford said the Ranger plug-in hybrid—and the related Ranger Super Duty pickup—“aren’t coming to America” because its existing domestic lineup already offers electrified alternatives. " I.E. we have the F 150 Powerboost (which I love since it out quarters the Raptor) and of course the legendary Maverick... And to top it off, they are releasing the mid-sized fully EV pickup which will be a direct Ranger competitor supposedly. I'd buy a hybrid Ranger in a heartbeat after driving the Powerboost.Ford will be offering a hybrid engine choice (not for me) as well as a refresh of the exterior of the truck.
was just in ford America build and price. apparently Laritat still get power fold. but they removed turn signals from all base to RR, unsure if puddle lights got taken out aswell on the xlt high 301A package.I waited on a 2026 seeing that they were doing a small refresh and switching to Google digital vs Sync. Well nothing and they removed folding side mirrors.
Yeah I don't think the 26 XLT has puddle lights. I have 360 camera but zone lighting only show front and back.was just in ford America build and price. apparently Laritat still get power fold. but they removed turn signals from all base to RR, unsure if puddle lights got taken out aswell on the xlt high 301A package.
do you have a 300A xlt with technology package, or a 301A High with tech pack?Yeah I don't think the 26 XLT has puddle lights. I have 360 camera but zone lighting only show front and back.
Haven't unlock in dark yet.
301A and tech package, heck ordered with all packages but only basic tow since I don't tow.do you have a 300A xlt with technology package, or a 301A High with tech pack?
So xlt's lost puddle aswell. Have a look at my thread adding heated mirrors to my 25 xlt. and see if your truck is prewired, if it is, you can get a set of 24-25 lariat or 301A with tech pack mirrors, and they'll plug right in. then forscan to enable the turns and puddle lights, and 4 zone zone lighting.301A and tech package, heck ordered with all packages but only basic tow since I don't tow.
I will continue shouting into the void until Ford brings the PHEV Ranger (or any variant of a hybrid Ranger) to the US market. Maybe I have to pull a John Cusack in Say Anything and stand outside Jim Farley's house with a boombox over my head playing reviews of the PHEV Ranger.I would love a hybrid ranger if it retained all the off-road capabilities of a current FX4.
As Ford has stated, the Ranger PHEV is not coming to the US. I think one of the reasons for that is that PHEVs are not as popular in the US compared to other parts of the world. But, conventional hybrids are popular in North America.I'd be curious as to where you heard about the hybrid option, Ford has contended all along that a US hybrid Ranger is NOT an option.
