I have not sat in an XLT but I can say the Lariat seats are the most comfortable truck seats I have ever sat in. I also own a BMW X5 and the seats are as comfortable as those.
I am 5'9" and 175 pounds to give you perspective on how I fit in the seats.

I have done 950 miles road trips, doing that mileage in a single 15 hour go. The Lariat seats, due to bolstering and the built in adjust-ability are very good after 15 hours. No worries here!
Glad you like them! It’s really personal. The XLT seats are not great and after testing a lariat I concluded they would also be uncomfortable for me.

I dislike my raptor seats and have been using a cushion. Anything more than 12 hours of driving is a no go from my backside.

I had a 2022 frontier prior and I prefer the Nissan seat comfort. I believe it is advertised as zero gravity.

Just some food for thought, an engineer's perspective on why I chose the RR over the other mid-sized options and why I'm personally keeping the stock 33" tire size:

Ford Ranger After a year of ownership, Edmunds still prefers Ranger over Colorado and Tacoma 1753300756272-wn

Attached the excel sheet for anyone that wants to add to it or use it for themselves for notes out of interest. The Ranger Raptor checked far more boxes than it left open compared to the other makes and models in the segment. Aside from the non-Bison ZR2, it was also more affordable, and Ford is also ranked higher up on average quality compared to other domestic mfg's.

Ford's Performance division also offering the enhanced ECU calibration (Pro Cal) with supplemental powertrain warranty is also a factor, but even stock, the RR's suspension and powertrain offers the best performance for Baja and is probably the most versatile overall.

Even though it's not set up specifically for crawling, its comparable with all but the ZR2 Bison, but the Bison really gives up acceleration and was noted as being quite sluggish on the highway due to the heavy 35s. Its leaf spring live axel rear end is also the "least Baja" capable in terms of RealWorld performance, so it's more of a "trail / crawler" than a true Baja truck.

Trailhunters are trail / crawlers, but they don't really offer anything for that over the RR. Same with the Gladiator Mojave X (although Rubicon is more trail / crawl focused, it doesn't really offer much practical real-world difference from the Mojave).

There really isn't anything as versatile as the Ranger Raptor and it's the only TRUE Baja truck aside from the TRD Pro which again, isn't vastly different than the Trailhunter in actual performance, so I used the Trailhunter as the baseline for the Taco's.
