Is the factory raptor FORD grill modular like the aftermarket ones? I love the look compared to the regular ford grill, substantially more sporty and tough.

Picked mine up April 19th. Came from a 24 Mustang GT. Didn’t wanna part with it but getting transferred to RI and figured having a winter capable vehicle was a higher priority.

I joined the CG Raptor club on 8/25/25; Paid MSRP (happily) in So Cal. I put a healthy amount down and have a very reasonable payment for the next 36 months...

I am absolutely loving the RR and only wish I had acquired one sooner. Can't see myself ever letting this one go...

Here's my last ride... '23 Jeep Gladiator Mojave in full Punk'n Orange:

how many miles did you get to on that gladiator? did you ever get the rocker arm issue where they start making noise?

asking because i have read so much about it in the past. i was thinking of getting one a year or two ago till i found out about that issue and then, luckily, for changed the body style on the rangers

I owned that Gladiator for just under 2 years and sold it with 14K on the odometer. It did everything I asked of it, ran like a Swiss watch and looked pretty good doing it. I had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever from a mechanical/reliability standpoint and given the longer wheelbase of the Gladiator (and the incredible factory suspension of the Mojave trim in particular) when compared to the Wrangler, it drove on-road like a Cadillac -- very compliant and planted -- especially so for an SFA vehicle. I really only took it off-road a few times and most of that was pretty mild and could have been handled by a much less capable vehicle. I am fortunate enough to live in close proximity to the Mojave's home turf and while getting out on the desert sand was sorta fun, it lacked that raw, visceral power that one desires from a lifestyle vehicle like this. Enter the RR...

The thing about the Gladiator is that while it doesn't do any truck stuff particularly well, is too long for most serious off-roading and due to its SFA setup requires significantly more driver input during on-road situations -- those are things I knew going in and things I could live with. What I didn't realize that is the powertrain setup -- the 3.6 with the 8 speed -- while somewhat "fun" in the shorter wheelbase/more nimble Wrangler, was incredibly underwhelming in the Gladiator. I guess I just got tired of getting passed at-will by econo shit-boxes from the middle of last decade. Granted, Gladiators aren't built for performance necessarily but the Mojave trim in particular is marketed as a high-speed desert runner...Full disclosure -- it isn't.

Finally, the orange color...while it's a beautiful color, was definitely fun for awhile and it turned heads everywhere it went, if I'm being honest it kinda old for me. I definitely scratched my itch for a fun colored vehicle; I'm loving my much more incognito RR in Carbonized Gray...

for sure, the length on those made them rough for off roading in certain conditions. i drove the manual trans gladiator on test drives. definitely different from my wife's 2019 jlu with the e torque 2.0 turbo.

Small world but we also have a '19 JLU (a Rubicon) that we bought off the lot that year. We still have the thing and it too has been fantastically reliable and has performed every task we have ever asked of it. Our ownership experience with the Wrangler made the Gladiator seem like the logical choice when it came time to add a midsize pickup to the family stable.

Unlike yours, our JLUR has the 3.6/8 speed auto transmission (like in the Gladiator) and it is actually somewhat fun to drive. The 2.0 turbo motor you have is very fun to drive and was actually an upgraded option back in '19 (it's the other way around now). I drove a few while I was shopping back then and enjoyed both motors. We ended up finding a hard-loaded/highly-optioned one (leather, aux switches, steel bumpers, LEDs, etc.) with the 3.6 motor in December of that year that my wife and I felt was perfect. Nearly 6 years and 60K miles later, we've been very happy with it.

Have had mine for about 5 months. Still haven't really driven it yet. Only has 115 miles on it and I just listed it for sale.
