Will the drawers come in 2 versions? Standard and ultralight?
Nope. We can't get the lightweight slides in the 54" length. Plus, the thinner material (2.2mm aluminum) doesn't provide as much strength over long spans like we need in the Ranger. We'll just have the standard drawers. It's the same with the Gladiator as well. The big drawers just require more structure.

I have a change I want to make to the drawer. The slide could be launched now. I'll get my product data guys on that and try to get that one over the finish line. The drawer posed some installation challenges. The changes are addressing the installation/removal process.

Will the drawers have a bottom plate attached underneath? ie, the one for my JKU did not have one but instead is using the base platform plate as the bottom cover.

If you have our JKU drawers, it's the same design style. The tray (the sliding part) serves as the bottom to the drawer. We try to not include material (ie. weight) when not absolutely necessary.

How wide are the slides and drawer (both exterior & interior)? Is it possible to get 2 slides and install them side by side? TIA!

594mm wide. The drawer you see in the latest renderings is exactly the same width, but the new changes I'm working on may affect that slightly. More to come on that.

Slide interior width is 542mm. We'll have official numbers on the product pages when they release.

Yes, you can put two slides beside each other. That will be a popular setup.

Pretty sure this will be the production slider and 6" drawer.

The problem I had with the parts that are in our Ranger now are that they were just too long. I had to remove the auxiliary battery off of the Bulkhead MOLLE Panel and the drawer was pretty tough to install; to get the front most (closest to the cab) bolt into the rails.

By shortening to a 52" slide (vs. 54"), I was able to provide super easy access to the frontmost mounting holes (closest to the cab). This also created room to mount things on the Bulkhead MOLLE panel. The back of the drawer is about 4.5" from the bed. I was also able to expose the mounting holes in the frontmost floor rail. Not sure what we will be able to do with those holes yet, but we'll figure that out in the future. 🤣 This change will make it super easy to install and remove these components, which we know is very important.

I'll get some sample 52" slides on the way today and we'll get some of these put together when they get here.

I am extremely excited for progress on this! Thanks for the update.

I noticed you have some slider handles on sale with the black friday sale. Are any of those going to be add-ons for this that might be advantageous to pick up now in anticipation of this release?

I don't think it will be a normal option, but I do have the one we just took out of the truck that's a 54". Glad to make you a deal on that one if you're interested.

It's the one in this video. It's still raw/unfinished.

@AdventureLab Looking to plan some upcoming trips for 2026. I know you have a ton of projects and I don't mean to pressure, just looking to get an idea of when you think this will be ready to order and ensure I get that order in with ample lead time before any large trip.

Good timing. We made a couple of these last week and last night, I did the final fitment into the truck with production parts. Everything fit perfectly! Due to its origin date, these are already at the top of the release list. I will see if I can get these listed today with all new photos with the production parts.

Thanks for the nudge!
