How often do you guys change your engine air filter? My home is in an average dust/pollen area. It looks like a quick job using a Torx 27 screwdriver

Cant comment on interval, but I just changed mine to an AFE dry filter this weekend. It takes 5 minutes and is super easy. Remove the torx bolts and unclip 3 clips on the intake tunnel. Just be careful with the clips on the intake tunnel - they are really fragile and I broke one although It all seems to hold together fine without it.

My OEM filter had been in there for a year and still seemed clean. There was a lot of sand in the intake box though so I vacuumed it out.

Apparently they breathe better and filter better after some break-in so you shouldn't change it prematurely (as I did).

Every 15K, which some may say is too often, but there's a lot of farmlands around here.

How often? Take a look at it every few months and if it looks dirty, replace it. It depends on your surrounding environment.

I think the manual says 30K on the engine filter, 15K on the cabin filter. I'm doing both at 10K because Colorado is dusty AF.
