I have never tried mine from the app just use the fob to remote start it. Just one of the many things that I don't use on my truck  like charging pad, bed power bank

if your wifi or data is weak, or slow it will do that. I find when it does that, its mainly my wifi is very weak, so I turn off my wifi and data takes over. or vice versa. Im off wifi and no cell service

Started going into sleep mode a few weeks ago. Now it happens all the time. I monitor the voltage from the ecm when I drive and it also looks like it's charging weird. There is a TRM update. A ssm says could be causing battery drain. If so, an FDRS has to update it.
Of course, it's effing 14 deg for the next couple days.

Mine works fine.
I tried it the other day.
Start and stop from the add.
I have not tried the scheduled start yet.
Lock and unlock doors also works.

Once you get it working right from the app you can create a shortcut and control it by SIRI commands. I use it to unlock my truck as I approach it in store parking lots.

App remote start suppose to work over cellular, check your settings in truck and also make sure its added in the app properly. I can start mine from my house out in the country 150 yards from the truck and you can also set how long you want it to run. My Son started his and shut it off in another city from where he was with his phone. Security still works no ones going to just jump in and drive it off! We tested it! Lol

If you have WIFI calling enabled your phone will automatically switch to WIFI when you're at home near your network, and it may not be a strong enough signal at your truck. Like @ShadowDragon24 said, switch off your WIFI and the cellular network will take over.

Mine starts instantly over either network but I also have a WAP in the garage.

The app also lets you set the HVAC. Plus start it when you are too far for the fob. You can also program it to start daily at a set time. One of the best features of the truck I think.

I use it frequently, works like a charm.
Great to have HVAC and heaters do their job before entering the car.

Interesting. In the last few weeks I'm having trouble starting with the app. The truck is close by and I'm in my house with strong wifi. Sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn't. But your comment about the battery is what caught my eye. I've been having trouble with my battery. Without the engine started it often says 11 volts and even with it started it sometimes says 13 volts. I get messages about Charge System Fault and Remote features disabled and the battery fault light on the dash. . I've had it to the dealer twice and they say it fine?

I had recently similar kind of symptoms - dealer replaced battery under warranty and all electrical issues are gone.

Thanks for the reply. I can’t convince my dealer. The problem never shows up when I’m there. I’ve shown them photos but they just keep saying it’s ok. I suppose I’ll have to hope it gets worse.
