Here in Minnesota its not so much trucks breaking down on the road as it is 4 wheelers and snowmobiles in pickup beds, mainly GM, Chevy and Ram. Its perfect logic, they're life boats. For years I’ve been hearing acronyms for Ford that imply that they’re undependable and break down on the side of the road, yet I rarely ever see a Ford disabled along the highway that I commute daily. If I do, it’s typically a flat or an accident. Most of the break-downs end up being GM, Chrysler, Hyundai, and Kia (in this area).
is this the case with anyone else or is this just “regional” because there may be more GMs in the area (we have an assembly plant).
Thoughts? I’m curious as to what auto-maker “really seems to be leaving drivers stranded on the highway.”
