The dealership finally got back to me with a plan to pull the bed and repaint with 2 new taillights and stickers. The problem is it’s a week or longer and they are saying no loaner.
Your taillight and your fender look distorted, is that the case?

Annoying thing about this is I don't want to repaint anything unless absolutely needed (accident)...so the remedy for me is essentially going to be a bottle of touch up paint...bummer!
I tapped my wife's front fender with the end of a power washer in a manual carwash and put a small chip in it. Not huge but it was definitely down to the metal. I found a company that puts that ceramic coating, and several other better coatings on ont the paint as well, and I paid them a $150 to do a professional job so everything is flat, smooth, and only nocicable by anyone who knew it was there.

Chip on driver side here. Seems to be a chronic issue at the Michigan Assembly Plant

Mine also had it, and Its noted on the "owe" sheet when I took delivery. They are already going to have to pull the fenders n such to install the cargo rails, so they are planning to do all of that at the same time for me.

My driver's side also has the chip. Pulled it and touched it up. Dealership said there was nothing they could do about it...
Likely my solution for this as well. I'd just as soon do the minor touch up myself, and not mess with the body shop. Dealer seemed unconcerned about this for me too.

Removing fenders to install cargo rails? Seems rather extreme, considering that the box is a welded assembly.

Yeah, I mean that's what they said lol, I questioned it but whatever. The point is its all getting done at once. I'll update once it's done.

My truck just landed, October build, and I did not have the paint chip but the gap between that top corner of the driver side taillight is less than the passenger side.

Also, the panel gap on the side of the tailgate is narrower on the passenger side, too, compared to the driver side. Don't know how adjustable this is but the dealer is going to have their body shop take a look.

My wife's Ranger Raptor had the chip. Mine was delivered October 16, there is no gap between the light and the fender. That's probably how they're fixing it, they're just jamming the light up against it, so you can't see it. That's exactly what I expected. I used to do automotive parts production and that's how the wind blows. I'll have to loosen mine when I put my tonneau cover on and take a look.

You can shift the bed a bit over, there is a bit of slop in that if you kind nudge it one way or the other. Id have them adjust the tail light.

Are the taillights adjustable like that where you can slide them up or down?
