My wife’s fist truck was a Latiat. When she fell on love with Ruby Red, no way she was going any lower. Plenty of XL and XLT but she had her mind set on a unicorn (for NM) and the dealer found it out of state. Love her truck as much as mine.

The only thing i regret not getting on mine is 4x4. My wife wants us to swap to an xlt for heated seats though

Had a 2024 Ranger Lariat 2.3 and sold it for a 2025 Ranger Raptor.
Why because life is short and I got the Raptor for dealer invoice.

XL 4x4 with rear locker. I’ve seen alot more 6th gen’s on the road lately, but nearly all of them are XLT FX4s. I see more Ranger Raptors than I do other XLs.

I opted for the xlt with the fx4 package. With the locking diff, this truck will get me in more places than I have any business taking a new truck into and get me back home. I’m not bashing the raptor or raptor crowd. Its a nice purpose built truck. But for me, the upgraded suspension and cost weren’t that big of a benefit.

Lariat for the leather seats, larger gauge cluster screen and headlights. I always buy a trim near the bottom, decided to treat myself this time.

STX here. Everything’s too expensive these days, though I get that’s a personal perspective. These things are so loaded with tech these days I don’t much miss the upscale features.

I considered the Lariat however I have lost interest in 'leather' seats especially for a truck. I understand that this is not a high end luxury vehicle.

The cloth seats are perfectly fine, like a warm hug. And they are heated which typically wasn't an option so many years ago.

Lariat. Had an F150 Lariat and wanted a comparable level. Was convinced I would buy a 2025 Raptor but not available in Red. Waited until the 2026 Raptor model announced. No Red. With all the rebates, went with the Ruby Red Lariat.

So I bought an XL 4x4 with the rear locker and tow package. I was amazed to discover that Ford offers this combination, since most manufacturers make you upgrade to a much higher trim level to get the locker.

Everyone who has ridden in my Ranger comments on how nice it is. Aside from a few small omissions (like SiriusXM), I find the XL to be well-equipped for my needs. I also have a lifted Jeep JL for serious trail work.
