POLL: Which trim did you buy?

I ha e been looking at them for 2 years. I had planned by a XLT. But found that the XL has all I need and a much better price. I dont need 4wd. I have a velocity blue, 2wd with a rear locker snd trailer hitch. I wanted the safety features of a newer vehicle. XL has the main ones I wanted.
I might upgrade one of these years, a 2wd 2.7 would be tempting. The 2.3 is not lacking for power in any way. Only 1200 mi
, the majority is 45mph speed limits, no fun.. Im averaging 19.4 mpg so far. My 2014 4 cyl camry only gets around 26 mpg in the same area. A bigger difference on road trips though. Comes spring I hope to find out.

And the locker in a 2wd probably makrs it go anywhere i need but since our son is stationed in nebraska and it snows alot, i get anxious thinking about driving my 2wd to visit him during winter months. Had a 2024 Ranger Lariat 2.3 and sold it for a 2025 Ranger Raptor.
Why because life is short and I got the Raptor for dealer invoice.

How much was dealer invoice? I did not see many below MSRP!

The only thing i regret not getting on mine is 4x4. My wife wants us to swap to an xlt for heated seats though

Get her one of these and put a seat cover over it. I can attest that is works very well, and heats up in seconds. I used it on my TDI which took forever to warm up. I didn't even put a seat cover over it. The only drawback is the power socket on the Ranger is inside the console but you can add one under the dash.

Curious how forum users break down. I’m guessing a lot of Raptors. What else? I’m an XL man myself.

I got the low package XLT with the 2.7L. I liked the cost and payload capacity mixture. If the 2.7L was offered in the XL I may have gone with an STX.

The xl trim has sooo much more to offer than the xl package of decades ago. With 4x4 and a locking differental, the xl is alot of truck for the money by todays standards imo.

MSRP, perhaps. But Lariat transaction prices are quite a bit lower.

XL 4x4 with rear locker and box step. Was looking for an old school farm truck. The only option I am missing out on that's a minor annoyance is not having the window auto roll up like it does on the passenger side. Gotta hold the button till closed after going through the drive through.

Is the driver's window supposed to work like that? Could something be wrong?
