@DirtDerrick. Do you actually have the diamond black tip AWE exhaust in stock? I was told by AWE they are mostly made when ordered. I also have ADD phantom rear bumper and have not got a clear answer if I would have fitment issues. Any customers you had with that bumper? I don’t want to deal with fitment issues because of my bumper.

The DSR one looks like Tube and Fin similar the PWR one, all the others are Bar and Plate. Tube and Fin flow better and is lighter, bar and plate is beefier (physically heavier, more thermal mass), but don't flow quite as well, so to compensate for poorer flow, they are usually physically larger to get the same pressure drop. Bar and Plate are popular because they can be welded by hand vs. requiring expensive mfg. of tube and fin style that is typically mass produced by OE's.

Ideally, I'd prefer a larger tube and fin style, but there aren't any except the PWR one and I don't know how we could get one imported.

I ordered 60 systems, they have been trickling in. I currently have 5 Black Diamond Systems in stock.
Let me ask the gentleman who's truck they used for development. He had front and rear bumper, but I don't think he installed them yet. One sec

I can discount this one as well, if the DSR route is the way you wanted to go.

Wagner one is
With a core size of 550mm x 300mm x 77mm Can do this one for $800 shipped to you. In stock.

DSR one is
Core Dimensions 550mm x 300mm x 90mm

That Wagner looks interesting, but it's for a 2.7L. But, the DSR one looks like a pretty common core option from back in the day, so it's their pipes I'd really be needing for the Raptor.

Yes. It is for a 2.7. I was just showing you a cheaper option here in the US.
You can get the Y from the 2.7 pipes.

Also the 2.7 intecooler from some company's are the same one as the 3.0.
They just added another hot inlet for the 3.0.

Lots of stuff from the bronco, Ranger 2.3, and Ranger 2.7 cross over.
Some perfectly, some require creative thinking.

Buy the turbos—you will never find them that cheap—anywhere. Or the AWE exhaust—you can’t beat that deal either. I see you were looking at the DSR intercooler. I also wanted an option for a winch. Almost all the stage 1 aftermarket Intercoolers get fatter going forward and take away space for a winch. Have you considered the Process West stage 2? I have one. It is only about 2” thick—where a stage 1 is about 5” thick. There appears to be plenty of room for a winch. Every winch bumper I have seen is designed to run with the stock Intercooler shutters in place. The PW stage 2 removes the shutters and is thinner than the factory Intercooler (because it is almost as big as the radiator —it’s thinner). I had measured it out, and it almost would fit a hidden, behind the bumper winch—something like that new Warn flattop winch. More importantly the PW is $1k cheaper.
If I was going for max power I'd be on the turbos and PW2, but those days are behind me. I'm happy with what it has, minus the 107mph governor.

I'm thinking of putting the winch in the stock bumper, and from what I've seen behind the lower valance, a high mount IC is necessary to free up that lower area for a winch plate. I'm not 100% sure it's feasible, but until I'm at the point of needing a winch for an upcoming trip, it's vaporware.

a few pics to show the room in there with a hidden winch mount. The first pic is my truck with the PW stage 2. The remaining pics are with the hidden winch mount installed with the stock intercooler and no shutter. There is more room with the PW than the stock IC.

LIVERNOIS MOTORSPORTS 2022-2026 3.0 BRONCO & RANGER RAPTOR INTERCOOLER | LPP439990 | Livernois Motorsports

Just adding to the list, didn't see the Livernoise one unless I missed it.

My rant on thoughts about which option I think will work best for my uses:

Personally, I'm thinking the CP-E delta will pair best with a Pro Cal to maintain as much stock-like drivability while providing significantly better cooling than the stock IC.

Removing the lower shutters in front of the IC is NOT just for fuel economy. People forget that if you have a down draft below the radiator, you will pull more air through it even with the upper shutters closed.

For faster warm-up to minimize cold operation wear, you want the entire frontal area blocked off and if you drive the truck in winter, cold starts matter big time! I drive my truck year-round. We typically see temps from 0 to 20F from Jan - Early March in Ohio winters. Then we go to mid 80s - upper 90's in the summer! Wide temp range.

Then rear passive shutters help with low-speed driving on trails etc. since the radiator fans can help pull cool air through the IC by the vacuum drawn from the radiator fans. I would make the argument that's not so much for the intercooler itself, but rather for radiator performance. How much the rear passive shutters actually do is debatable however since they are not on most other Rangers or Broncos, only the Raptor variants seem to have them.

I also don't want a massive core that causes lag / drivability issues, I want it to drive like stock when I'm not in boost or mild boost (throttle response), so there's a balance to sizing the core, pressure drop, turbulence etc. all of which affect drivability.

If I can keep my charge temps to a more reasonable range in the upper gears at high speeds in 90F weather I'm happy with that, but in the summer the stock unit can see charge temps in the 150F to 175F range when wringing out every gear, especially from a dig. Even on shorter multi-gear pulls I often hit 130F to 150F on the stock IC.

I did confirm with the CPE you do have to forgo the rear shutters, but I do not believe you have to eliminate the front shutters which is what I want to keep the most and have the biggest impact. Maybe I can zip tie the rear passive shutters on like with the Wagner unit and trim the ducting, but if not, I'm willing to forgo them for the better overall cooling performance.

Also, I'm theorizing that the better efficiency at low speeds may negate the need for the passive shutters all-together. They may have been added to aid cooling of the stock IC due to its limitations at lower speeds with limited air flow, a more efficient unit is going to provide better cooling even at 15~20 mph than the stock unit and your normally not under boost on trails at low speeds, it's just running NA.

My CP-E Delta should be here in a couple weeks and I can throw in some install pics and my assessment after I do a KAM reset and the ECU re-learns (should always do KAM reset after IC change).
