I've seen several of the triangular shaped running board drain hole plugs on Etsy.

Those of you that have them, what color did you choose? I see orange and red, but no code orange.

Recommendations w/link?
Pics?

I have a 2026 Ranger Raptor with two triangular openings in the rear bumper, but zero triangular openings in the running boards.
Do you have photos of these triangular openings in the running boards?

Okay... thanks for the clarification.

Here is what I was talking about with the triangular openings:

I have NO idea what these openings are for...!!!!

The opening in the front of the running board is not really triangular which is why I was confused... thanks for the clarification & photo.

It does look a bit plain and the photo you showed is an interesting mod.
Like my Bronco, the mods NEVER seem to end.... what a beautiful problem!

Isn't it more of a trapezoid?

I bought a metal sign and plan on cutting a few pieces out of it, spraying with rubberized undercoat, and bolting between the mount and side step.

I assume the triangles on the rear bumper are drain holes.

I think the hole is there to let mud splatter up onto the truck and make it look cool?? Anyway, I added these:

i have some but they don't exactly fit into the hole. they sit more on the edges above it so they collect stuff around their edges now. i keep saying i am going to take them off but that requires laying under there and unscrewing them and that hasn't happened yet.

maybe this weekend? not today, for sure. its thunder and lightning outside with 2.5" of rain in a bit over an hour, so far. i hope this rain is also hitting north of town where our reservoir is so we can have water to drink this summer. it was at 6% ten days ago and then we got some rain that bumped it up to 8%. hopefully this can move it up into the teens

$6 option thanks to another member who posted elsewhere. 12x8x1.5mm aluminum plate cut in half and attached in between the brace & running board. I was even too lazy to run to use my buddy's chop saw, but I did deburr with a Dremel. Used high temp black spray I had on deck. Might get sand texture or rubber spray if I'm motivated later.

This thread coming to the top reminded me to take mine off. And luckily it did because the passenger side was completely loose. The bolt had pushed up through the the top piece so I apparently over tightened them when installing

Either way, they are off now
