Signature Lux amber (lava) daytime running lights

Apologies if this has been answered, I assume warranty on the headlights is void if these are installed correct ? Looks nice BTW !

Warranty would only be void if they can prove the aftermarket item caused the problem.

The 1 issue I’m not a fan of with these boards are you have to break of a locating pin for them to sit flush, so that is a dead giveaway to a dealer that they have been messed with even if you swap back the factory boards.

I have the extended warranty, each light is 1500 not installed. The amber looks tempting though so I suppose it's a gamble to follow through with it. Need to see daytime pics before consideration.

That makes sense and honestly I didn’t even consider the cost to replace the light if it went bad… I guess I’ll just keep my fingers crossed. When the rain stops I’m gonna pull the drone out and get some daytime footage for a quick update video on lights during the day. Just gotta figure out how to film it without them looking all blindly since the shutter speed speeds up in daylight and I don’t have any ND filters for my drone. I could throw a filter in the GoPro to get it, either way, today I will get something posted to show it in daylight in all the headlight modes… cheers

When in park with remote start my drl's are on. All factory, same with the amber ?

I got some footage of the amber lights in both daylight and simulated dark (covered the light sensor so the auto headlights thought it was dark out). Hope this answers everyone’s questions

I wonder if it's possible for @Signature Lux to work with their manufacturer for this board to put a hole where this locating pin is in the PCB (and route any lines away) so this last bit of warranty breaking design is solved.

While looking at the board, there is no connections going thru that spot, I was about to drill my own hole, it would have been pretty easy but I was tired and frustrated at that point so I just broke it. That is a great recommendation though. I can send them one of my old ones for them to get the exact measurements

I want to get these, but now I have to figure out how to change the wiring for the 4 amber grill lights to operate with the daytime running lights rather than the side marker lights that I tapped into....

Got mine today and gave it a go, flexible extension is a must have, that is where everything turned tragic, dropped 2 of the 3 screws trying to put them back in (only found one of them) and pulled a bit too hard on the connector for the original board for the driver side... whoops. They do look amazing though cant wait to get the other side installed.

This is exactly why ill be taking extra time and pull the headlamps out

Honestly, it was me not taking my time because I needed a drivable truck in the morning lol. Definitely a weekend project. If you take your time and have the right tools it’s really not too hard.
