Muslogy mud flaps. Really like the ease of install and they fit great. Ford though and these stupid plastic pins with a Phillips head that doesn’t actually back out when spun is mind numbing when they continue to use these crap pins. At least i shouldn’t have to deal with them again. Might get some decals to throw on them for a more personal touch too. Maybe some American Flags

drove to work in the ranger even though we are supposed to get slammed with rain.

and of course, it has been raining for the last 2.5 hours and the older build (built in the 50s) here at work has 2 inches of water in it. i am so glad i got moved to this new building two years ago. every time it used to rain badly, those of us who are old school and come to work no matter the weather, would be stuck mopping for hours to keep the water from sitting.

that old building has lived through so many hurricanes but the grade is to low so bad rains always flood it. i am so glad the new buildings were built 20 feet above the level of those old ones. 10 more years and the whole new set up should be done so those old buildings can be knocked down.

my wife called about 1.5 hours ago and said the house lost power. we live about 2 miles from work

Dont have 3D printer so found these Sharp End Covers for the Rails of the BAK Industries X4S and X2 Tonneau Cover On eBay. Excellent quality and fit like a glove…no more sharp edges!

those corners are lethal! I took a dremel to them last weekend and rounded them off, which did the trick, but those caps look a little better than my hackjob.

Completed my 1000 mile break in today (hooray!)
Followed that up with an oil & filter change, along with the installation of a Ronin oil plug (what Ford should have used).

Worked my ass off this afternoon using a strip wash on it, spraying it down with prep spray. Then ceramic coating it. Started at 3 and finished around 7 this evening. Cleanest truck in town.

Tries to get my new bumper lights wired up with minimal success. Seems like an issue with the one POD. These are the diode dynamic SSC2.
The one pod works perfectly on both circuits. The other pod… the backlight comes on but if you bump the light it’ll flicker or turn off. The main beam won’t even come on unless you put downward pressure on the connector. Which makes me think there’s an issue with the connecting pins. Hopefully an easy solution or quick replacement.
Too bad… I was looking forward to these!
@Diode Dynamics any suggestions?

(Both circuits tied into the same power)

I ordered these 3D printed inserts for the side step cutouts on eBay. Supposed to be subtle since the R is underneath the fins so you don’t see it till up close. Supposedly the puddle lights shine through when they are on and show an R on the ground as well. Seems pretty cool. They are shipping from Australia. Going to hold judgement till they arrive. I’ll post the listing if anyone is interested.
