I relocated the trailer hitch wiring to the bumper using this kit: https://americanadventurelab.com/product/ford-ranger-trailer-plug-tuck-kit/

Worked super easy, had to grind down the inside of the adapter a little to get the trailer plug to click into place. Looks good and was an excuse to finally buy a cutoff wheel ?

Can you mount that kit vertically to match the standard Rangers? If so, would you still have to grind down the inside of the adapter to fit?

Yesterday I installed a door deal between the front and rear doors on both sides. If there's a difference in sound level while driving, it's very minor. Probably not even a decible.

But, the material is dirt cheap, and the install takes just a few minutes per side, so why not?

I think it would fit vertically, but not 100% sure. You would still need to grind down the bracket to get the plugs to click into place. Also you will really want to grind off the existing bracket which is welded to the bottom of the bumper.

For lack of a better plan, foil tape over holes under stake pocket covers. I’ll see if it slows water intrusion. If not, easy enough to remove.

Got my carbon fiber intake from indiCarbon on Wednesday and finally had a chance to get everything installed properly. It was pricey especially compared to all the options out there now, but now that it’s installed I’m not regretting it at all.

I made a box thing to imitate a drawer setup. No more screwing around with ratchet straps to get at Pelican cases, etc. They're 28" deep to match the depth of the Dometic fridge. Long stuff like chairs, recovery boards, etc just gets thrown in front.

I’m pretty certain it will not stay this way long term but… I installed the mounts for my Pelican BX135. It is kinda nice having it right up against the tailgate.

I added the weather tech door sill protectors and installed the OEM sill protectors ontop. The idea was from someone on here but I also did the back. I had replaced one of them not long ago after getting a replacement set from Ford after one was installed incorrectly from the factory and had the whole set waiting and decided I wanted more protection. I did decide to install the front set centered on the doorway and not the weather techs because it didn't look balanced in person with them in the center. Happy with it. At first I was concerned about the weather techs adding wind noise because the lower seal sets on them but I tested them with a set barely adhered and got up to 75-80 and there were zero issues.

Another alternative is application of PPF to all four sills...clean look, preserves the OE 'Ford Performance' look along with self healing properties for those in-n-out scrapes.
