Although quite close to the knuckle, I have not noticed rubbing. The tire dealer did a lot of measuring prior to selecting the 275 cross section size rather than 285 for just the extra clearance provided. Had I installed 285’s, rubbing would have been likely.

I am looking into a tire swap with fender flares. Would I be able to install fender flares and tires without needing wheel spacers? I don't want the truck looking goofy with not enough tire sticking out if you know what I mean. Thanks.

What are the fenders? I'm strongly considering leaving the stock ride height but bigger tires. I'm getting lots of chips on the back fender from front fender, even with flaps.

If your swapping tires only and keeping the stock wheels with the stock 50 to 55+ offset then yes adding bulging fender flairs with stock offset wheels will look a little goofy IMO.

Most of the reason for adding flairs is for covering the offset of aftermarket Rims and larger wider tires. A lot wider tire won't likely fit the stock wheel so that is another reason aftermarket wheels typically come into the equation when running larger tires.

2.5 inch super lift with Rough Country fender flares. No rub.

Why did you switch from the Bushwacker Flares you had on before? I was looking into getting the Bushwacker/Ford ones with my Ford points.

I didn’t like the 2 separate pieces for the rear bushwacker flares. The Rough Country look slimmer and one piece on each flare.
