Easily removed the Plastidip from the face of the sensor with a toothpick. It comes off cleanly at the edge of the sensorWhat about painting the parking sensors with the plasti dip paint.

I used some leftover G5 alloy paint I had for my Mustang from Nason, close match until I change it later. Just couldn't stand staring at the silver mustache! I did it a few days after bringing it home. What brand/color paint did you use?
Was it off the shelf spray paint or did you have it mixed? What brand? I'd like to attempt this.I painted the bumper trim 16 months ago on my RR, Bolder Grey to match the bumper. Surprisingly I haven't found any paint chips yet.

I had it mixed at NAPA. It was a little glossy so top coated it with matte clearcoat and it matches really good. Was it off the shelf spray paint or did you have it mixed? What brand? I'd like to attempt this.
So you didn’t remove it?Not necessary, it's a simple masking job and Plastidip.![]()
Thanks for this tip. I spent an hour trying to get that valance off to paint it, couldn’t get it to release in the middle. Instead to your advice and masked it and 1 can of plastidip ( for now ). Turned out greatNot necessary, it's a simple masking job and Plastidip.![]()
I started off with a $170 wrap job. I got two weeks out of it thus the post above about Raptor Liner.I painted mine last summer (pics in this post) and it's chipped to hell. Looks like it got shot with a shotgun. I do live in a area where the gravel the roads in the winter and do a lot of gravel road driving and hunting. It looks awful. Wondering if a wrap would hold up better or do I just repaint it![]()

TY sir. I now have a weekend project haI started off with a $170 wrap job. I got two weeks out of it thus the post above about Raptor Liner.
I used the Raptor primer, Raptor adhesive promoter and the Raptor 2k bedliner spray can. When you first pull the trigger on the liner spray can be at least 3’ from the bumper. I learned that the hard way!TY sir. I now have a weekend project ha
What? The wrap job did not hold up? That's what I was going to do since my friend does them and only charging me $100. Wont have to take anything off..but if it does not last..what's the point....I started off with a $170 wrap job. I got two weeks out of it thus the post above about Raptor Liner.
