Is there a dashboard view of battery voltage?

I can't seem to find one on my 2024 XLT. I keep getting messages about systems shutting down to save the battery.

I don't know about the XLT but there is one for the RR. I keep get the systems shutting down message also. The battery reading on my dash with the engine off can be as low as 11 and with the engine on as low as 13. Had it to the dealer twice and they just say they test the battery and it's fine?

All vehicles in the last few years monitor "Battery State of Charge". Its a Federal mandated thing which "supposedly" helps with fuel mileage. I keep battery maintainers on all my cars/trucks. Wire them up so the plug is easily reached in the grill. Pull it in the garage and plug it in.

I have recently had this same issue. The power saving mode comes on and Ford pass remote is useless. I have had my system checked twice in the last month. I was advised that short trips in town do not give the alternator enough time to charge the battery. The also advised a battery maintainer. I believe this is design flaw. I should not need to charge the battery when that is the alternators purpose. This is not isolated to the Ranger. There was a gentleman at the dealership while I was there that had the EXACT same issue on a F150.

Totally ridiculous for a brand new vehicle in my opinion.

It shows the constant voltage readout on the 2nd screen under measurements which can be found under the off road menu on the center dash. All done through the steering wheel.
At least on my Raptor - not sure about non Raptor models. Worth seeing if it’s there….

Its not even a FORD only issue. Other brands are struggling with the same thing

I’ve brought this up before in another post and didn’t get much response. It’s info (infuriating! sorry about the auto-"correct") to me that my ‘25 Bronco sport can be configured to display the voltage but my ‘25 ranger cannot. I tried some cheapish devices that attach to the battery and remotely display the voltage but they were various degrees of inaccurate and unreliable. I now have a small display that plugs into the obd port and shows a lot of info, including voltage. I hate that I had to do this, so thank you very little, Ford.

And I too had low voltage issues and ditched the ford battery in favor of an odyssey last May. Haven’t had a low voltage issue since, and it was 14F this morning.

On the Ranger Raptor, you can go into Offroad > Measurements > More Measurements and it will report the voltage there in the center of the cluster. I'm trying to go by memory, so it may not be "measurements", but something close. I don't know if the non-Raptors have the same Offroad menu.

I don't have a raptor, but mine has the FX4 package so I'll check it out later and report back.

I was having a reoccurring problem losing my R button settings. After some research I found that today’s batteries are not like your father’s batteries. All the tech AND the crazy auto/stop function plays havoc on batteries. Lastly I don’t drive my truck that often and when I do it’s usual about 30-40 miles total.

Solution- a battery maintainer. Been using a CTEK maintainer and all is well. However, the idea that I need to do that is not reassuring to me considering all the other tech in the truck.

The trucks start to shut off "non-essential" functions. Things like your Raptor settings, dome lights, etc. Your Ford Pass app will send you a notification when its going to start doing that. I have maintainers on all my vehicles for that reason.
