Wow thanks for the info, pretty crazy how substantial turning ASS off when tuning is for me. May not go with Cobb now, regardless of ease of use.I have the procal tune and just switched to Cobb and Goose. The cobb OTS 91 tune feels slower than the procal. I cant compare Goose yet as we arent done with the tune. I do like how the procal shifting is different per each drive mode like factory. That is something you lose with the Cobb accesport. You have a choice of OEM+ or Sport for transmission tunning. Would be nice if Cobb could have somehow kept factory style transmission tuning that was dependent on drive modes. It also seems cobb does not allow turning off the auto start stop which I think you can do with other tunning options? Goose said he cant even turn it off. Coming from a 500+ wheel horsepower Supra tuned with EcuTek I guess maybe I'm asking too much of the cobb accessport. ECUtek had amazing capabilities for tuning where I feel this handheld style tuner lacks quite a bit. Once Goose is done with my tune I am going to try to go down to the dyno and run all of them to see how they compare.
I do, except for 5 am on my way to work as my R mode is setup for baja exhaust. I understand its a little annoyance but just kind of figured for the money that small option would be there.Y’all don’t just hit the r mode when you get in your truck? I never have ASS turned on because I go straight to r mode.
Link to the 40 dollar option? Last i seen it was 100 bucks. You can either just hit the button when you get in or spend the $40 or whatever it is for the ASS eliminator kit if its really that big of a deal.
Ah, my r mode is quiet daily mode and then i just use the sport drive mode when I want to be obnoxiousI do, except for 5 am on my way to work as my R mode is setup for baja exhaust. I understand its a little annoyance but just kind of figured for the money that small option would be there.

I'll talk to then about that. That is the case with every Ecoboost truck, and they have SS turned off in those instances.I asked Cobb about auto start stop and this was their reply:
Hey there! From the factory, Auto Start/Stop settings in the Ranger Raptor and Bronco Raptor persist through key cycles. We do not intend to make any changes to that system.
It can be done. The Livernois tune turns it off.I spoke with someone at Cobb a couple weeks ago when I received my AP. Knew it was pipe dream, but wanted access to accesstuner pro, as I still have it for my speed3. They mentioned they're working on a OTS map that will remove ASS, no ETA though.
True but saying canned give the connotation that it’s not good. The stock tune is canned as is the FP tune. It really boils down to use cases and convenience. I do know that they have access to engineering that others don’t have. Everyone has different needs and wantsLivernois is a canned tune, I'm sure it's fine but you can get better for the same money. They helped develop the FP tune and from talking with them their tune is a hopped up version of that.
