Just an FYI, this could be coming your way depending on the particular VIN.
Ford Recalls 179,000-Plus Broncos, Rangers for Front-Seat Issue
Ford’s latest recall affects some 179,700 examples of its Ranger pickup truck and Bronco SUV and involves an issue with the front seats.
Affected vehicles include model-year 2024-26 Rangers and Broncos. The seat frame height-adjust pivot bolt may be loose or dislodged and may not properly restrain an occupant in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
To resolve the issue, dealers will inspect and replace the pivot links and bolts, as necessary, for free. Interim letters notifying owners of the issue are expected to be mailed May 11; additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, which Ford expects will be in July. Those with further questions can contact the automaker at 866-436-7332 (Ford’s number for this recall is 26S30), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
