I can't. Can't remember if I heard it on the 2.3L when I test drove it. I want to say I did.

I can’t even hear them on the 3.0 - I added a vent to atmosphere BOV so I could at least hear the boost they make… (probably the single best and easiest mod I’ve done)

I can't. I don't recall hearing it on my 2020 Ranger when I had that either.

I could hear it on my 2023 ZR2 with the 2.7L TurboMax. One big turbo. Sounded kind of cool.

I can, for a sec, then the wind noise from the mirror area drowns it out. It is a little better in sport mode, but not much. This is with front windows down, all stock.

Nope. They're tiny turbos.

I can hear mine spooling up but the sound gets washed out as RPMs climb. They're not loud but noticeable. Thinking about getting an aftermarket intake for a little more noise. I've been reading about the engine running lean without a tune so that worries me a little.

Yep, they're tiny and spool quickly but you can hear them if you have the music turned down.

I find it hard to believe you can't hear the turbos spool on the 2.7. The turbo on my 2.3 spools loudly and it's kinda nice.

I have the 2.7 and if the turbo noise is indeed audible I can’t distinguish it from other sounds (engine, wind, road noise, etc). Edit: I’ve added soundproofing but don’t know if that’s relevant to the turbo noises or not.
