I haven't noticed any other config on the international version either. So how does the rest of the world get other option's? It's all supercab and 5ft bed.
If you go to Ford's website in the other markets, you can build and price them with single cab, super cab and 6ft bed.

Shouldn’t you be on a Nissan forum? There must be something better to do with your time then typing endless negative posts on here about a truck that you aren’t buying, it’s a little weird. It’s like a scorned ex girlfriend type of vibe.
just keeping it real for all you newbies and fanbois. Check my join date- I was on here early and following and ORDERED a Ranger myself and was driving a Maverick waiting forever for Ford to pinch it off and shit this thing out :ontheloo:. Did my time and paid my dues on new Ranger son. I've owned lots of Fords when they were better vehicles and/or better values. I've always been brand agnostic though. Now I'm just calling them as I see them: go for the best bang for the buck while getting the configuration I WANT- not what some marketing eggheads think everyone should want at the expense of the rest of us. Did I mention I already owned 4 new Rangers previously? And a Maverick, 2 Rancheros, Mustang ll, an Escort, Pinto Woody Wagon. Currently have F-150 and E450 RV we'll keep forever because they are good vehicles that meet our needs. Most of the posters I started with on here had really high hopes for this and Ford teased us with all the ROW stuff years in advance and kept us hoping it would be same here. Instead they almost all bailed and moved on even though this place is still amusing at times. Get over yourself.

Personally I fall into one who would only buy this config for my family. In fact the more leg room in the back was a factor in my choice of the ranger. I'm irritated that there is not rear heating as i thought that was what the dual hvac zone's was for when I purchased.
So yeah you have now heard of ppl (me).

This will be my daily driver and that is part of the reason Ididn't go with a F-150 it was to bigger than Iwanted.
It will be the vehicle we use as a family on trips as well in addition to being able to haul rock, pavers and other items for lawn and house projects.
check the post right after yours ;) You can also search on here for all the great Australian posters that used to contribute here and post about the new versions they were constantly getting and giving us insight on the vehicle they had in their market already. Our 5G was fully designed in AUS and this '6G" here is the 5.5 G to them as they've had most of this for years already.

Yes, I watched several video's from Australia and review's from the first test drives in 22 that were done in Thailand. I do not recall seeing any other config. Obviously there are, just weird non of the video's I've watched ever showed them.

then another slew of video's when the ratpor was released and the wildtrek models.

Pinch off and shit out was funny, Ill give you that. Still weird to be on here as much as you are when you've made it very clear you aren't buying one.

I guess they didn't want us to see how a normal Ranger did off road and wanted to save that for the Raptor?
The first media review in Thailand had just the normal rangers and on/off road reviews. But the Raptor was a ways off. I guess they didn't want it stealing any of the Raptor's thunder since they are out at the same time.

What's funny is this is exactly how I would feel if I bought an F150 Raptor or TRX lol But I do think I would take a Shelby F150 over a Ranger Raptor (RR). I do like the looks of the ZR2 more than the RR but I rather have a V6 than a 4-cylinder. If Nissan made a legit Nismo version of the Frontier or if Honda made a real baja version of the Hilux then I might be more excited for a Nismo Frontier or Hilux GR over a RR. Tacoma TRD Pro and Trailhunter are right under the RR for me. My Raptor is being built in April but I do plan on buying a Trailhunter in the near future as well and will look into the Frontiers when a supercharger kit is available.

I have noticed that some "reviewers" have difficulty in judging a vehicle based on it's intended and actual use, versus their own preferences & perceptions. Kind of like 40yr olds reviewing kids movies - kind misses the target.

The Drive complains about the fit of the interior plastics...but there's nothing objectively wrong with it. It's a work truck. It's going to have hard plastics (they're easier to clean) and there might be some panel gaps (this isn't a BMW). Furthermore, providing an opinionated review on whether or not it is a viable daily driver is silly too, especially the "buy two $25k vehicles instead logic." That's insurance & maintenance on two, neither of which is cheap.
I hadn’t even read the review yet, just the drive headline (a site I normally enjoy reading) & realized I’m not going to agree with what he has to say as we’re not the came customer at all. Perhaps still valuable reading the article though, as I suppose it does give a different take rather than the generally completely positive press expected. Still not sure I’d learn anything though now from the read.

Cool. Let me know where you order your Toyota from...
Sorry had to laugh at this. As I’ve learned studying Toyota’s TNGA-F offerings, you can’t actually order one…. Chatting with my usual Ford sales guy. If I decide on a Ranger (or prefer to go back to a 2025 Explorer post refresh) he thinks he could have me in a vehicle max 4 months if we order. As little as 2 if they have one already on the go that’s ’close enough’. Not in a rush though.

I hadn’t thought about it until he said it, but it seems they’re a victim of their own success. The Toyota allocation system seems geared to produce what they can so you can wind up waiting a year for a car which will hopefully be close enough. Or not. If you’re a manufacturer, kinda an enviable position to be in really. Apparently he’s had a couple conquest sales from people who are surprised it doesn’t necessarily take a year or more to get a car any longer.

As much flak as Ford gets for not executing product launches & with some documented quality woes, it seems they can actually produce to meet their demand & make a profit doing it.

I don’t recall having read a press review about a recent vehicle as negative as the one from TheDrive for this Ranger.
He does mention at the end that his opinion is actually the opposite for the new Ranger Raptor, but that;s coming in the next review.
