Be thankful that Ford is stepping up to take care of these issues. GM customers with the 6.2L V8 are still driving with potential engine failures.

By the way, are you really getting your oil changed every 10k? If so, these recalls are the least of your worries.

I just checked the NHTSA website and my 2025 Ranger Raptor shows it too. 4 open recalls. I guess I will wait til they have all available parts / programs and get it done at once. Sad. Back when I was a Ford technician in the early 90s, You would go months without seeing even 1 recall across the whole line up. These vehicles from all of the manufactures really have issues and poor quality. Very sad.

I think they are just so complex that there is too many things that can go wrong and a few always are. At least Ford seems to be trying to make things right even if it’s way too many little annoyances

Fix Our Recalls Daily.... Seriously, enough is enough. Let's get back to "Quality is #1". I don't think in 50 years of driving Fords I've ever had this many recall in a vehicle that isn't even a year old....

The dates and model years make no sense.
I think both my 25 RRs were built after that. I don’t think 2026 Job 1 happened till early Jan 2026.
How the recall effected 50 2026 model yet the cutoff of the recall was 2 month prior to 2026 production starting. 🤷‍♂️

Ford will most likely end up expanding the recall. This recall is the exactly same as 25SB5 (NHTSA 25V721) to address a population of vehicles produced from 2020 to 2022 with front seat pivot bolts that may be loose. It's a production line issue versus being a supplier quality issue. My understanding is that a locking compound is applied to the pivot bolts, but in some cases the bolts were installed before the locking compound had fully cured resulting in it not holding properly. Supposedly this only affects a very limited number of vehicles, but since they don't know which bolts went where, they are required to inspect all of the potential vehicles. And Broncos got the same recall as Rangers.

Yeah, we get recalls for loose bolts, S/W update and potential wiring issues.
GM just tells their customer to use heavier oil. Well, that will at least get them past the warranty.
And there's the stalwart never die Toyota with 350K engine recalls.

While Recalls are a bummer, I had the Side Air Bag Shield, Seat Bolt and A pillar recalls all done at the same time at my Local Ford dealer. They have a shuttle service so they brought me home they had the truck for maybe three hours and then came back and picked me up. Couldn't see any evidence the headliner was dropped (my main concern for the side air bag shield recall). The trailer TCM Recall update came OTA about a month ago so the Ford App now finally says 0 active recalls which makes my OCD very happy lol

Recalls just seem to be the norm now for all manufacturers. Even the "mighty" Toyota has had some pretty major ones lately and they are supposed to be the king of reliability.
