If you're unskilled don't do it, fella. Just cause you posted a picture of someone's crashed truck doesn't prove your point. Putting speed limiter on vehicles is due to liability. But trying to call other people stupid because you're not capable is kinda stupid. Cause you know, maybe people want to race at the track.... and before you say something stupid like "it's a truck. Why would you race it at the track? ". Because we live in a free country.

It's quite plain and basic...'speed limiters' along with other engineering specs [aka the "arbiters" ] are established for objective, vetted reasons.

In many cases - - violate specs without proven 'testing', supporting data is a recipe for catastrophic outcomes....it's written in blood.

Advocating just 'remove' limiter - - "cause its a free country" is foolish, ignores understanding and consequences, which many times involves others also paying for said unforced errors.

More simply stated - - 'Play stupid games, win stupid prizes'​

i said remove the limiter? No, i said a regret was the limiter was still at the stock limit. When people race they push the limits and beyond. You should understand that. But rules for thee and not for me. I get it.

Just get an aftermarket tune. They can't track those if you flash back to stock.

They can tell any time the modules have been written to in the log file.

Yup! And IF there is an issue the dealer owns the burden of proving it was the tune that caused it. The main players in the tuning world for these trucks make extremely safe power.
