I was asked if I had to decide between my 2026 Ranger or my 2024 Bronco, and had to keep only one, which one would I choose?

Here is the Ranger:

With 405 horsepower, and it being new to me, it has the advantage.

Here is the Bronco:

It is a 2-Door with the 2.7 twin turbo and a quite rare Bronco with the Badlands Package and the LUX package. 4-Doors are most common. In 2025, this package was only available in the Stroop Edition, which with the color scheme, it looks like a candy corn with blue mold on one end (opinion).

The Bronco is definitely better for rock crawling off-road parks, which this one has proved worthy.

The Ranger is still capable off-road, but in a different environment as opposed to the Bronco when it tries to prove itself.

The Bronco handing is kinda mushy... the Ranger is more planted.
The Bronco is more fun to drive off-road, and the Ranger is better on road.
The Ranger is quicker.
The Bronco is cuter.

If I had to pick only one, I would pick the Ranger Raptor.................. but I will NEVER get rid of the Bronco!
I do love the Bronco and always look forward to driving it.

The Raptor is just on a different level...!!!

Better offroad how? For rough and rutted trails, no doubt the shorty 2 door suv chassis is for the win.

Now go to the sand dunes where you can use the Rangers speed or a closed circuit track, a big open farm field and the Ranger will be the more fun truck to drive.

Really just two different focuses in how they are designed. You dont rock crawl rally trucks...you drive them fast and jump them. Two different designs for two different applications.

Rally Style On Dirt Road

Sending It In the Sand

More High Speed Rally Style

When you start adding speed and jumps...rock crawling and trails will seem boring. I did an OHV park last summer and while it was fun to try, its all slow speed stuff thats really about crawling prowess.

And, with good reason, nobody with a nicer vehicle, including the newer Jeeps wanted to push the limits. The ones having all the fun ran beaters they tailored in. I want to go back to that park but with my Honda Fourtrax Rubicon ATV, which is more appropriately sized for the park would be a lot more fun than any full sized 4x4 there.

There was nowhere for my Raptor to stretch its legs and I got bored with it after a few hours. I had a lot more fun drifting in my uncles corn field at 60 mph last winter than the OHV park.

Going to Silver Lake MI at the end of august, should be fun!

My RR for sure, but the new Filson Bronco looks pretty cool.

I occasionally peruse the Bronco forums, and I get the feeling the hardcore off-road guys there aren't really sold on it - like, 'how dare Ford focus on anything other than pure capability in my mean off-road machine' - but I don't care, I think it's great.

The RR is by far a better commuter in the Midwest.
Main reason I traded in my 2023 Rubicon.

As a fellow 2 door Bronco (2022 Badlands Sasquatch)owner and a 2025 Ranger Raptor. I drive approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) of rough gravel road every day. The ranger suspension is definitely superior to the Bronco the tires maintain their grip on the corners and the washboard much better than the Bronco. I am definitely driving the Ranger more

i had a Bronco Badlands, hot pepper red 4 dr with lux interior, non-sasquatch but added 35's later. i now have a white ranger raptor. if youre looking for a fun offroad toy that goes slower but a lot of fun offroad, the Bronco is awesome. Its noisy inside but not terrible. I enjoyed my 3 years with mine. That being said, a bed was more necessary for me and that was a big reason switching to the raptor. more space, smoother ride, quieter and more useful to me. I still love the Bronco's and my youngest wants one for his first car when he gets older. he loved it.

As an owner of both, a 2022 Bronco Sasquatch and a 2026 Ranger Raptor. We really enjoy the extra space for people and cargo. The Ranger is capable enough for our daily life.

Had both. Since not off roading a bunch, a ranger raptor was much more practical. Truck bed when needed, more comfy ride, handles far better. I much prefer my ranger raptor to my old 1st edition bronco.
