Bakflip MX4 tonneau - this much leak normal?

Hey guys. Have the Bakflip MX4 tonneau. Downpoured all day today. Checked today and got this much water in the back...

Looks like most of it is coming from the bed rail caps. But definitely some leaking at seams and such.

Im ok with it as it really is only leaking at the edges of the bed and draining along the side. Middle is dry.

Just wanted to make sure this was normal. Thanks all

I have the exact same cover and it is not a perfectly water-tight seal. I store everything sensitive in there in another weather proof container. That being said, on mine there are gutters that run the seepage down into those drain holes at the bottom of the bed. I don't see the downspout tubes installed in these pictures.

Thanks for the reply. I do have the rails and drain hoses installed they are just tucked a bit higher out a different drain hole.

With your setup how much water do you get in the bed? As much as me?

This is completely normal especially after a heavy downpour.

Unfortunately, this is the norm. It is the terrible design of the bed rail tops in our trucks. I had a '19 Ranger with the Bakflip soft top and it only allowed a tiny amount of water in when in the car wash. Otherwise, it was dry. Like everyone else, extremely disappointed in the the Ford top rails, which are so full of holes underneath the plastic trim piece that it is ridiculous.
