Joining the front left sensor club as well. As someone else mentioned, it only started when the temps dropped into the 20s or below.

Dealership could not find any issues, codes or anything wrong with the sensors. They visually inspected everything and made sure they’re plugged in. They don’t know how to fix it and could not replicate the issue considering it was warm outside…

I too have experienced this with my 2024 XLT FX4 with Upgraded Tech Package. It's specifically started happening when temps got below freezing.

This was just posted on the Ford Technical Service Information page for the 2024 Ranger
Ford Ranger Front Sensors Blocked Error 1738990033266-s2

No solution yet but hopefully just a future software update will fix it.

I'm in Buffalo, NY. Get this warning frequently when getting blasted with snow/ice. Very sensitive. My Audi did not have this issue as frequently. Car wash fixes the issue.

I am now a member of this growing front sensor issue club.

I have attached a photo of the issue as it appears on my screen. I have had my Ranger Lariat in Canada for about a month now and it has been a cold month so mine has not seen plus Celsius temps yet so the apparent cold trigger may still apply. It is odd that the cold only triggers that one sensor (see photo).

I just slide the blue electronic button on the screen and leave it off for the remainder of my drive as that appears to be the only solution at this point.

Ford gave me a copy of the SSM 53364 issue notice (attached) and the dealer looked it over and basically gave the same diagnosis. Ford Canada told me that "Engineering" is aware of the issue and is working on a solution. I assume the solution is software related or something to do with the wiring on that one sensor over the drvier's side front tire.

Hopefully the solution is coming soon as it is a bit frustrating to have a brand new vehicle without access to a key safety feature.

Interested if anybody else has received a proper fix from Ford yet?

I can tell you for sure that replacing the sensor does not fix it!

I have this exact same problem. Same front left sensor. Same screens. First went off in March last year when I first got the truck. They could not replicate the issue because it was already warming up. Came back again when temps dropped below freezing this January. This time they finally agreed it was a problem, and replaced then sensor. Just got it fixed a week ago, and as soon as temps went below freezing the last two days, it came back. Thanks to those that posted the SSM! Emailed that to my service rep, and said add my truck to your list!

A workable solution is to accelerate the global warming to end this winter asap ???

I thought pressure washing had fixed the issue but it was unusual warm weather down at Georgia that masked the problem. The dreadful chimes came right back with sub-freezing temp…

Sensor only had one issue and it was after driving in very cold weather with snow/salty roads. Poured a little cold water and got the salt/grime residue off and no problems since. For others, I think it software that faults the driver' side sensor address. Sensor operation in cold weather could trigger the fault.
Both of my garage stalls are narrow and relatively short. I do like the sensors beeping and then a steady tone when I am close to the wall (with camera views, too). Sure beats the tennis ball on a string.

Joining this club as well, only during a cold spat a few weeks ago did this show up. Mentioned it @Ford dealer during oil change. SSM 53364 was the reply
Ford Ranger Front Sensors Blocked Error Ranger Sensor

Also had a few times during first morning start in cold weather that it never shifted into 4x4 mode when selecting "slippery" mode. Had to manual push the 4H button. Then tried to go back to Normal mode and it never shifted back into 2H mode, had to manual select 2H.

Ditto on my 24' Lariat. It's irritating as hell. Tried shutting off the Active Parking Assist, and it seemed to work for a couple of days but then it came back. Guess I'll wait for the update.

My XLT gave that message as I was pulling into a parking lot 5 minutes after vehicle delivery. I turned around and went back to the dealership and the salesman knew nothing about It. Luckily I had taken a picture of the error message.

I went for a service visit on the following Tuesday and no errors were found so they had no solution except, “Those sensors are really sensitive.” Thanks…

My DIY fix is that I have turned off the front parking sensors. I’ve driven for 50 years without them so I’m not terribly worried about it. If Ford ever comes up with a fix, I’ll have it done.

Here's a new one. I don't know if anyone knows that when you hit your camera button while driving, you get the rear camera to come on with a square sign in the center that says something like "view is partially blocked for safety". That's way off but when I came out of the car wash this morning with the temperature at about 28°f, as I was driving through town, my front camera came on and then my rr started changing drive modes on its own as you can see in the other picture. Freaked me out watching vehicles coming at me head on on my monitor! Taking it to my dealer for its first round of warranty work sooner now that this happened. 3200 miles.

My 24 raptor just joined this sensor error club, mine is front passenger side. Weird thing is it’s 50 here today and I’ve seen others say it’s c happening below freezing….not in my case.

anyone have any updates on this issue?
