I thought so too, until I took it to Canada to ski for a 500 miles round trip. It cost me just $6 because I charged free in Canada.

The only time I used a supercharger, it took 16 minutes to charge to 80% (or 210 miles). Things have kind of changed in the last few years with electric, not to mention gas prices right now - $5.50 for a gallon of premium where I live..

Scenarios
15-minute top-up: Adds up to 175–200 miles of range.
20% to 80% (Typical Session): ~20–25 minutes.
20% to 100% (Long Session): Roughly 45–60+ minutes (due to tapering/slower speeds).

thats not as bad as it used to be, for sure. i wonder if hte charge sites are available equally in all states? i know here i live, they are kind of in off the beaten path spots so you would need a map to be able to find them

I'm curious which v6s sound good because I've never heard one outside of a Ferrari/Maserati v6.
I’ll start with saying: to each their own.

pretty much any VW/Audi VR6 sounds incredible as do many of the V6’s that Nissan puts in their Z and GTR. With a proper exhaust setup of course

I’m still waiting for a good sounding exhaust for the RR though

I finally got around to putting the Vibrant ultra quiet resonators on. The difference is a lot more than I thought it would be. It is now pretty quiet in quiet mode now and is deeper sounding in the other modes. I really like it.
Don't do like me and install them yourself. The pipe on the resonators is the same size as the tailpipes. They have to be expanded to fit slip over the tailpipe. That stainless steel is very strong when trying to expand it. The also fit very well in the space.

I will drive it a few hundred miles to see if it gets louder after they are broke in.

X2
Would love to hear sound clips of the different modes.
Everyone does loud exhaust which does nothing but exaggerate the only thing I actually dislike about the RR (the v6). Would love to hear one quiet or at least quiet in quiet mode. Lol 😆

AWESOME!! Thanks! Did you have to trim the heat deflector? Like cc1999 I'd love to have it a little quieter and deeper tone. Looking forward to a sound clip and updates!

I'll try to get some clips next week. I'll be out of town a couple of days. I have the heat shields off right now. I will have to trim them a little and put them back on. They are on there pretty solid right now with band clamps, but I may go and have them welded on.

Also, when looking at the pipes, right above the spare tire they come really close to a wiring harness. I might add some foil tape or something else to keep the heat off.

I dislike the Nissan/Infiniti v6s a lot, the RR sounds like them. I don't recall Audis/VWs sound at all, which means to me I find them inoffensive.

This is the best I could do with a cell phone.

That sure sounds a lot quieter then stock.
Thanks for sharing the sound clip.

Would you have any pics of where and what was installed to accomplish this sound level?
Maybe a part number and brand of what was used as well?

I am tempted to try and duplicate it with at least one of my RRs.

You should just godzilla swap one and coyote swap another and see which one you like better lol

Yea, I use to really want a Coyote swap RR.

All be it that I am still always very interested in any V8 Ranger Raptor swaps out there, but for me I do prefer the sound of a big block pushrod v8 like the Godzilla to that of a DOHC v8 of the Coyote, and when doing the swap mainly for the sound, I am thinking if this Godzilla swap works out, I am certainly giving thought to doing the same Godzilla swap on one of my other white RRs.

So far still in the holding pattern waiting to learn more details on my first Godzilla swap project before I get to looking much further down the road. LOL.
