Replaced the rear resonators with Vibrant Ultra Quiet 2.5 inch resonators.
$60 EA from Amazon.
Wow! This was exactly what I hoped for!
In Quiet mode at cruise I don't hear the exhaust, step on it and barely hear it.
In Sport or Baja it's a bit quieter than before, but deeper and mellowed a bit, somewhat softened so the 2 cylinder riding lawnmower sound is gone. Smother sounding.
Not a huge difference but not subtle either. I really like it!

Those are the best resonators you can do. They work great

That's the same results I got. It kinda removes the resonance of the exhaust and moves it to the rear of the truck. The idle is deep sounding also.

It's too bad some of the volume in Sport and Baja was reduced, but the tone is so much better... Good trade-off

Looking at this pic it is giving me an idea of how to possibly pull off the use of these resonators and still get the other part of the look I have been wanting.
Looks like there is room to maybe route the pipe over a bit further and tuck the resonators up into that pocket, finishing it off with a down turn tip, to get that concealed look.
My goal is to get the quiter deeper tone and the look of how the exhaust is done on the GMC AT4x
Do you guys think those resonators will fit up in there Ok?

Absolutely. I've had street rod exhausts made where there was no way it could fit, but they managed...

I won't have them. Never again.
On cars, backing out of the garage/driveway they stir up dust on my nice clean car.
On the trail, if the guy in front of me has turn downs it blows up so much dust I want to kill him
stuff potatoes in his exhaust pipes...
Hate turned downs.

No idea, but generally that style of resonator is straight through with holes, stainless steel packing in the outer part.
Louver core glass packs are different, usually much longer, and I've never seen them called resonators... And sweet sounding on a V8....

There actually looks to be enough room that you can put those resonators on their sides and put bed steps on a ranger raptor
