About every 10 times I start my 2025 RR the instrument panel goes back to factory settings. All of the selectable gauges and the "My View" defaults back to factory. Even the front and rear parking sensors come back online after they were turned off. At first I thought that since I had automatic updates enabled the truck would reset after a 2am update. I disabled that but it still happens. The dealer looked at it and found no codes and they also re-flashed the module. They say there is nothing wrong with it and won't replace it under warranty.

I'm getting so sick of resetting my display that I'm just going to leave it where it defaults to. Anyone else have this issue or a fix?

I have seen… as I have fumbled through these forums some individuals experiencing similar issues after installing dash cameras, especially if they tie into the power overhead. Mine will randomly switch to “trip a” but never delete the “my view” settings or reset parking sensors. I think the truck is quite sensitive to adaptive harnesses or taps that share/borrow power.

I have this issue too! I thought I was hitting something by mistake every once in a whiwhile starting. It drives me nuts. Would love to find a solution but I doubt there is one considering how inconsistent the issue is.

The only single item I have plugged in is a 3D-Tech auto start/stop cable but I had the issue before installing that. I often wonder if battery condition has something to do with it.. When I had my Explorer ST I would have all kinds of problems when the battery was running down since I didn't drive it much. I'm only putting 8-10 miles on my truck each day. Probably not enough to charge the battery.

Yes! Randomly happens to me all the time.
I don’t have anything wired or plugged in either. I plan on bringing this issue up with the dealer at the next oil change, but I don’t plan on them being able to fix it, unfortunately.

Do you use remote start? I had issues with default screen last year and it seemed to go away. Now that I have had to use remote start the last couple weeks, it has returned.

I do, but not that often. It will definitely do it even when i don't use remote start.

Yep, mine too! Bugs me. I like to have the center pod in measurements setting so I can see o/p, air inlet temp, vacuum & boost, etc. in real time. Just for the enjoyment of it. See what the trucks doing.
And at least 3-4 times a week it punts me back at Trip A. Then I’ve gotta toggle back through and find the measurements setting under off road and reset it only for a couple days later…back at Trip A. Rinse & Repeat! Annoying! I want to just set it & forget it.

And I use the remote start EVERY time to give it a minute or two to get the fluids moving. And I’ve been doing that for over 35 years. Never had an engine issue in my life, so I can’t be convinced not to.

Is anyone having these problems who DOESN'T have a Raptor? Just a standard truck?

It seems like the Raptors have more electrical issues posted about, but I'm wondering if that's just because there is a disproportionate number of Raptor owners on the forum?

Did you set everything you want and hit the P1 button assuming your fob is using P1. This goes for seats as well.... Are you always using the same FOB and not grabbing extra one by accident?

Interesting concept. I always use the same fob. My second one is in a box somewhere.

I think it's a SYNC issue, my Lightning used to do the same thing.

So something I noticed with my 25 RR with now 3300 miles. I was having the same issue a couple times per week. Since I now plug my battery into a tender, It definitely cut it down by a lot. I believe it has only happend now approximately twice in a month. I am think it has something to do with battery voltage and / or the modules going into "sleep" mode. I do not drive my truck everyday as I have a take home vehicle. That is the reason I put it on a tender in the 1st place.

I hate to bring back up an older thread but, since I had the OTA for the Sync update, now my view is back to resetting to the default screen. This happend yesterday 3 times. Really starting to get tired of it. Such a little annoyance. I can't understand why this can't be addressed. Is anyone else still having issues or started again?
