I replaced the AAT sensor trying to fix issue. I would guess irs a software issue ford hasn’t addressed.

Since summertime and hot out, is everyone sure it's not just where the vehicle is parked (asphalt), and truck reading higher due to this, or is it also after driving quite a ways and temp still not displaying properly?

Every single vehicle I have had from any manufacturer seem to read ~5+ degrees high. I have learned over the years to just subtract 5 degrees from the display and it seems to be pretty close.

Same here on my '25 Lariat. My '21 Lariat Tremor seemed to be accurate, though. And its not solar loading or anything, it's the same way when I leave my parking structure at work at night (midnightish). Wish it was more accurate.

Yeah, normal it seems. Early mornings, 6AM, both temps seem to be equal. But afternoons are a bit off, even when I park in shade all day.
It also depends how you are getting your outside temp. Don't rely on your phone as that's just a guess for your area.

for sure, don't go by the phone. weather.com pulls the temp from the local airport to me, which is 22 miles away and inland. i try to get the weather from navy base air traffic control tower since its only 3 miles from my house. my part of town, being within walking distance of the bay, is always about 5 degrees cooler than in town because of the ocean breeze.

This was being parked all closed up in the direct Florida sun parked next to the garage which reflects sun onto my truck. It was probably close to 100 degrees that day, but I bet the truck was pretty close to the 124.

I came here looking for the same thing. Mine is off as a percentage. IE: the lower the temp, the more accurate it is. Once it hits over 85 degrees though, the further off it is. Many times showing over 104 degrees when it is only 85-88 outside. Very frustrating.
