Just added about 70 lbs in skid plates and curious after reading this thread about where to measure ride height. From the middle of the hub to the fender; top of the hub to the fender?

You can measure it however you want but, probably the most accurate is to measure from the middle of the fender down to the middle bottom of the rim and the subtract half of what the measured rim diameter is. Some just measure from the middle of the hub up to the fender which is fine to. Still other measure from the ground to the fender, but that isn’t that accurate because of the varying degrees of tire pressure and temperature that can affect things.

Didn't you only add about 40 lbs since the stock skids were removed?
I was told that I added 120 lbs but removed 52 (the stock plates) which leaves a gain of about 70 lbs. I did not weigh everything personally though.

What brand of skid plates did you get? I weighed mine and weighed the stock plates I removed. The result was an 84lb weight gain. They were 3/16 steel RCI skid plates.

My packaing was a total of 93 lbs including the boxes. Look at your invoice it should have all the weights. I didn't weigh them either.

I’m looking to run a 1.5” front spacer and want to run a 1.5” rear spacer. I want to keep the factory rake exactly how it came form the factory. Just 1.5” higher front and rear. Has one ran a 1.5” spacer in the rear?

@nedmo What do you think about this? I know it's not apples to apples and I do not dispute the spacer lift as being the best option for a stock RR with Live valves. Just wanted your opinion.

That video holds zero relevance to what works on the RR. We absolutely agree that on most platforms, strut spacers arent the best option.

But none of the "problems" they discuss are relevant to the RR and in particular, the RR strut spacers we design and make. We dont lose travel, we specificaly only go up to 2in lift because of issues with components going outside safe operating angles at lifts greater than this.
