What is your Insurance Coverage & Cost?

I am in the SF Bay Are, and my bill for our 2025 RR came in @ ~$1,600, with a $500 deductible. CA minimums are ridiculously low, so we have more than the minimum as we have more to lose. Be at fault in a serious collision with a +$60k car, and the $$$$ are used up fast... then you are on the hook.
Our coverage:

$500k bodily injury per person and per accident coverage costs $418
$500k property damage coverage cost: $423
$500k uninsured motorist bodily injury per person and per accident coverage costs $227
$5k Medical coverage costs $44
Comprehensive & collision coverage costs $418
Then other little stuff

CA requirements:
$30,000 bodily injury per person
$60,000 bodily injury per accident
$15,000 property damage


I am wondering what folks outside of CA are paying. I need to give my wife more motivation to move!

im in calif also southern .. is your rate you posted for a year or 6 months and with who.. im with AAA an its just over $3k for my truck looks like the same coverage i need to check no tickets or accidents and mult car discount Calif insurance is a rip off.. i lowered the coverage on a 12 year old car and the rate went up go figure..

USAA similar coverages. $879 every 6 month in Pa. I’m also 56. Oh and Full Tort.

I'm with USAA in CA and it really seems like the insurance game is a lucrative business to profit from....the amounts of profit are probably near beyond comprehension

Here in southern michigan it is $2009 Annual for my 24' Ranger Lariat. Multi car discount, $500K liability, $250 Comp Deductible and $500 Collision.

don't look to move to texas. we may have cheaper insurance but our property taxes are off the scale. i have almost a half acre yard and a 500 square foot one bedroom house with 2 car garage and the county tries to charge me 3500 bucks a year. i go to their kangaroo court and fight it and normally win though
