What portable power station do you carry?

That's pretty sick! I run an Anker Solix C1000 gen 2. It runs our fridge and charges our devices all weekend without having to recharge. Planning on adding a DCDC charger to keep it topped off though.

I know a lot of people bring a power station along on trips and camping, what do you bring? I chose to build my own since I had a spare battery. It's 1,280wh with a 1,000 watt pure sine wave inverter, USB ports, 12V socket, 120VAC socket, shunt with display, cooling fans and a 120VAC inlet on the side for charging via a self contained Victron 15 amp charger. It weighs 40 lbs and fits nicely in the back seat of the Ranger, and can be carried with one hand. It will run my 12 volt cooler for up to several days depending on weather of course.

No solar yet but thinking about a portable array with a built in charge controller if anyone has recommendations on one.

This was years before cell phones existed

The only power box I carried was many years ago. We started camping with a tent. I put two 6 volt lantern batteries in a wooden box I made and used a 12 volt cigarette socket for the output to power our small 12 volt black & white TV.

I carry a Bluetti E100V2 and I use their Charger 1 to charge it. It works well for me.

We had one of those tiny 4" B&W TVs in the truck camper and I installed a cig lighter plug in the dinette.

Nice kit bigb! Anker Solix C300 (288WH) plus a small Goalzero Yeti. Found a Dokio folding solar panel on amazon who's voltage worked to charge both. Charge one in the sun, keep the cooler in the shade; or run the truck for 20 minutes and charge both/powerchill the cooler on sustained clouds.

Bodega 12V cooler I had is 1/4" too tall for the retractable tonneau so it travels on the rear seat, dirty/wet gear in the bed if I'm fully loaded.

Even if we don't get the PHEV out west, the powerboost would be a huge upgrade for mobile power.. coworker runs his trailer right off his F-150 and it'll cycle on maybe 5 minutes/hr on full draw and a lot quieter than a generator

I like that Dokio solar setup and it comes with a charge controller. How's it been holding up? Does it have kickstands?

oops I see it comes with a PWM controller, I was wanting MPPT.

No kickstands but plenty of chairs and logs to lean against. Seems to hold up ok.. haven't used the charge controller other than multimetering it to check output but figured its a good "oops I left the headlights on" backup to have - both power boxes designed to take direct feed; 8mm and XT60

I have 2 jackery (1000W each) and 1 100W solar panel. I recently put a 50w solar panel on my tonneau cover so I could pull off that too if needed.

I have two. I first bought a Grecell 300W + 2 ea. 100W solar panels just to play around with. I have since purchased a TOGO 2000W unit. I use it mostly on my land where I have no power run. Power tools and a 12v well pump.

I stayed cooler for as long as I could, but man, having a camp fridge is a game changer, and the power station is a great battery backup for the house during a power outage. It was long overdue.

I use a mix of different solutions depending on how long I'll be out.

For shorter trips I use an EcoFlow River 3 Plus with the add-on battery. It can be connected to my EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger, to bed power (120v or 12v), or solar. This is my most recent purchase and I really love how versatile it is.

For longer trips I use my EcoFlow Delta 2 Max. For even longer trips I add the additional battery to it. All can be maintained from the Alternator Charger or solar. In-cabin and bed 110v/12v doesn't do good at charging this setup.

I use power for my ICECO fridge freezer kept in the bed and on long hot trips, the EcoFlow WAVE2 AC/Heater for the rooftop tent or popup camper.

Having a power station really has helped find campsites at state grounds. Often sites without power are still available and can slide in last minute.

There's a place I camp every year for a week and I got tired of all my food swimming in ice after 3 days till I got a 12 volt cooler. I also use it to transport frozen shrimp driving 7 hours back from Mexico once a year.

I've looked at some Dakota offerings. that looks pretty cool and I see it has a jump start built in. It's a bit light on wh and AC output for my uses but the jump pack capability makes it an interesting choice, you have some emergency backup power along with a 1,000 CCA jump pack all in one unit. I'm kind of curious how they did that.
