I don't think the RR is as popular as this forum thinks. We just all want one thus being here in the first place. After all it's a damn near 70k midsized truck?

This is exactly what I'm saying. The Ranger looks are just "okay", but the Raptor looks amazing. If they made the Ranger look a little more sporty like the Raptor, they'd have way more than $2k orders in the US.Everything I’ve heard is the Raptor line is very profitable for Ford so why wouldn’t they want to make and sell as many as they can. I understand if they sell a lot then they might not keep up the uniqueness of it but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. Main reason I want it is for the looks, the performance is just a nice bonus
These switches to retail seem to be happening day by day as opposed to all at once, perhaps they are going in some kind of reginal order or by dealer size / status ?So .. My dealer originally put my order in as retail 10. I got my email and everything back on the day the banks opened in May. Then I saw on this forum that it had to be changed to stock as all initial orders should be stock or they will not get filled. I contacted them and they reached out to the rep and confirmed that it needed to be changed to stock and did so. Now, I see it needs to be retail (which I believe) and I called my dealer to change. They advised they have not seen a bulletin and their ford rep knows nothing of this so they will not change back to retail without notification from ford/ford rep. They confirmed I am their 1 and only RR order, so I will get it and if ford tells them to change it they will. ... Wish me luck !

not sure I see more but I see a lot. Ford should make all the trucks look like it and just have the Raptor for the performance version.Honestly I see more raptors than new regular f150s where I live
Lot of it may be where I live. Lot of young people with more money than sense who have never and will never do anything remotely close to off-roading. As far as newer trucks go it’s mostly Raptors > tacomas > frontier > tundra > whatever gmcs mid size isnot sure I see more but I see a lot. Where I’m at it’s usually 40+ year old dads with road rage issues. But ditto on the pavement princesses. There’s not a Baja trail within two days of driving from where I live. None of them has any real business with a Raptor (myself included).Lot of it may be where I live. It’s because they can have their business buy the truck and it helps with taxes. Some business slap big vinyls all over the side and it makes for a marketing play. But mostly it’s because it’s the only way they could get permission from their wife! What gets me is when they use them as work trucks…. I just kind of shake my head. I guess we have some areas around here where they could do some Baja style stuff but I never see these things leave the area. I feel like if you were getting a work truck there are better options and I also think if going for luxury there are also better cheaper options.
Nothing against pavement princesses really. It just confuses me why the raptor? Some of these guys are out of the age I feel like the raptor appeals to. Then again what do I know? I ordered a lariat

The dealers here have plenty of f150s in various trims. It’s kind of amazing how many they have.https://www.advantageford.ca/raptor-experts/
I wish I’d taken a pic! Or if I did I can’t find it now. Pre pandemic when car ordering & production was normal, dealer had an entire row of F150 (guess that’s the only Raptor back then) facing the street. I think I counted 19 & was shocked they’d have so many!
