I enabled several things that did work on my 25 Ranger Lariat:
Bambi mode
Transmission and Water Temps
Temp in addition to PSI for TPMS

What don’t work was DRL with turn signal. Is that supposed to make DRL flash with the blinker? I can’t rule out user error because I’m not sure what I would see for confirmation.
Thanks for everyone’s effort!

Just got a 2025 Ranger and made a few tweaks with Forscan 2.6.65 with success. Blinker flashes, boost gauge, seatbelt OK warning, etc. Successfully wrote to Bdycm, IPC, and SCCM. I just went to fix the power port timeout from 1s to 7200s. But it fails to write. Looking at the log, it stops at block 57 which is the power port.

On a whim, I tried making another simple change in BdyCM but not messing with the power port. Same thing, soon as we get to block 57, service procedure interrupted.

I looked at editing the power port in the as built mode, but seems to give me an invalid checksum whenever I change it.

Not sure what happened or how to fix.
How did you get the boost gauge?

Ok I was able to add the tire temperature to the TPMS but it only displays on the center cluster guage which isn't helpful because it turns off once you start driving. I thought (hoped) it was going to be displayed on the infotainment screen in the off-road screen? Still only shows psi? Anyway to also display it here?

Yes. 7+8=F. So put f there.
Hi, what does bit 4 means?, i used a hex calculator to convert mine, mine was a 5, so 5+8 =13 and 13 in hex is D, so i change number 5 for a D. But never understood what bit 4 means.

Tks.

From what I remember there was a toggle to turn it on. Then in the menu on the cluster it will show up under off road status, gauges.

Search for examples of hexadecimal to decimal to binary conversion, this is more or less basic computational math, nothing specific/special for Forscan. A Hex value is broken down into 4 binary "bits". Bit 4 is the leftmost bit, 3 is next, then 2, then 1 from left to right. (not to complicate things, but I numbered bits in the spreadsheet as 4,3,2,1, but i should have labeled them as 3,2,1,0 like most binary tables will represent, but it's basically the same thing. True math nerds will lash out for this mistake)

As an example, the value 13 you mentioned above can be represented in this table: https://tonystrains.com/download/DCC_DecBiHex_Chart.pdf. This table is presented as an Octet (which is a pair of 2 Hex values, or 8 binary "bits"). You can see the decimal value "13" you mentioned above in this table is binary "0000 1101", or hex "0D". Since we only are talking about one hex value, 13 is 1101, or D. the leftmost bit (called bit 4 in the spreadsheet or 3 in this specific chart) is a value of 1, bit 3 is also a 1, bit 2 is a 0, and bit 1 is 1

Clear as mud? This is why it's always better/safer to use the "non asbuilt" function in ForScan which does all the math for you, except that some of the features are not available in non asbuilt ForScan and thus are forced to do the hexadecimal "asbuilt" method.

Any confirmation yet if

Remove all seatbelt warnings and chimes (including OK button)
affects air bags or not?

edit: I just read @daytoncarter 's post and will give that a try. Just got set up so I'm going to try some simple stuff first though, like the door open while engine running chime.

PS I am humbled by some of the knowledge here and have no idea how you guys figure some of this stuff out, trial and error?

I successfully eliminated the chime while door open/engine running, then I went into "as built" and configured the seat belts per @daytoncarter and all works. I see you still get the popup in the cluster till you latch your belt but then it goes away without having to push "OK".

I also enabled "battery voltage display" and it successfully completed however it does not show up anywhere so guessing this is a Raptor only feature?

Also I noticed an option to disable auto stop/start, did I waste $100 on my auto stop/start eliminator harness?

Another discovery I made, after downloading my as built info from Ford then downloading and installing AsBuiltExplorer on my PC and on my tablet in order to read it I was surprised to see that Forscan already imported it all through my VIN and all I had to do was save the module configuration to a file before I changed any AB data.

I might try the DRL/turn signal mod next but I've read some conflicting reports on whether or not that will work.

My next plan is to read all 70 pages of this thread!

Does anybody know how to lock the auto recirculation to on? I hate it when it automatically lets fresh air in specially while stuck in traffic.

If i recall correctly, the interior humidity sensor is what forces open the Recirc button everytime you start the air.

Then, there is a Forscan setting where you disable the humidity sensor or change it somehow and then no longer forces opening the outside air.

I also hate that behaviour. please return with the results, man. Good luck.

Please advice me, what exactly did I do to mess up...

RR 2024, when I switch to offroad mode from button behind gear selector, all works fine - button for locker and offroad cruise control are available in SYNC screen.
But when I select drive mode from the wheel (for example) Baja mode, it goes to same screen what I get with camera button, without locker & cruise buttons. If I push the offroad button after selecting Baja mode, then it switches to offroad screen where locker and cruise are available.

Can this be because of activated silent mode or approach lights?
