It's been stated it's "across the street". I've seen it on google maps and it practically is. Not sure the routes they take but I can imagine it would be easy to take a more scenic route if that's all you do all day.

Wait, I may have an explanation for the miles, I was told that the truck was sent to the "Body Work" shop to have the spray in bed liner done, and then in a few days I was told it was back from the body works. I wonder what the distance from the assembly plant to the body work shop and do they truck or drive the vehicle back and forth

The spray in liner is literally right across the parking lot so maybe a mile one way and a mile back.

Mine had 27 miles at time of delivery but I did not get a bedliner.

They take them for Joy Rides at lunchtime. Probably find McDonald’s wrappers under the seat.

If the hoods are being replaced as some have said, and that is an IF.
Are the trucks being driven some were for installation then back to the purgatory lot
Could that be accounting for some of the higher mileage.
Just a guess due to being kept in the dark.

My Ranger has finally arrived at the local train depot with 131km on the odometer. Did anyone else have their truck arrive with this kind of milage? Does anyone know why they would need to put this kind of milage on a new vehicle before it left the factory?

It was probably used for test drives, since they do not have Raptor for that purpose.
I would register a formal complaint with Ford demanding a replacement with a new one or a big discount, but I would only accept the discount if they gave me a report with the detais showing where, when and by whom these 131km were driven.

Mine had 70 miles. Dealer said there was a note in the car that Ford took it for a quality assurance test drive. It seems like Ford is really being cautious with this rollout.

I also had a spray in bedliner. It had 11 miles on it when I picked it up from the dealership.
