Hello, given how hot it is in Chile these days, I'm looking for an oil cooler for the engine, as I've seen they only have transmission oil coolers... are there any for the engine?

Not OP, but curious. So this circled in red?Look for a liquid to liquid cooler on your engine. It'll look like a block of laminated steel plates.

CSF makes a pretty nice all aluminum radiator. The only aftermarket performance one I've seen so far.Hi guys, my situation is a little different as I am carrying a camper. While traveling out west the oil is getting hot and I’m getting a check engine light. This is particularly true when climbing the mountains out here.I’m wondering if I need to get a larger radiator or some other solution.![]()
There is a larger oil pan for the 3.0 liter engine in the ST. The ST guys love it. Adds 2 quarts of oil capacity so it should help keep things a little cooler. I haven't tried it, don't know if it will fit our trucks, it's the same engine, but there may be other fitment issues based on the frame being different.Hi guys, my situation is a little different as I am carrying a camper. Try using manual shifting mode and climb up mountains in lower gears. Modulate the throttle input to keep the torque convertible locked as much as possible (i.e. minimizing TC slip which generated heat in the transmission)Hi guys, my situation is a little different as I am carrying a camper.
