When should I expect to need to service the Fox shocks?

Does Fox have some kind of certified vendor network for servicing the shocks?

Wrote to Fox this morning and got this back:

Hi Dave,

We recommend every 50k miles for your usage of the shocks!

Good day,
I am unable to find reliable information on when the live valve shocks on my 2024 Ranger Raptor should be removed and serviced. The truck sees mostly street mileage with occasional, couple times a month, mild offroading (mostly flat dirt, gravel).
Thank you very much for your help,
Dave

My shocks starting making some noise around 40k miles, got pretty noisy by 50k miles. Just had them rebuilt and they're quite and feeling much better. Shop that rebuilt them said there was noticeable nitrogen in the oil on 3 out of 4 shocks.

Most shocks lose performance after 50K miles, Fox just lets you rebuild them rather than replace them.

If you have any local Jeep shops, they can probably service the Fox shocks. If not, check with any local motocross or SxS shops.

I rebuilt mine at 67,000 miles. Truck was bouncy as hell. No leaks. Replaced 2 front shafts (due to burnt mark) , all seals and fluids. I think 50,000 miles would be a good time for rebuild.

For those that rebuilt their own, what rebuild kit did you use?

Stopped in at OK4WD last week and they do not service the shocks, "but they know a guy" who is in PA evidently. They started to look for the number and I had to go, no rush as it's a ways off but I'll post up here once I get the info.

So after reading this, a member communicating with Fox, and we see that 50k is the marker.

Is this as simple as taking the truck off line for a bit, removing shocks, struts, packaging them up and shipping them to Fox for service? Fee + shipping and we are good for another 50k?

Prior to purchasing the Ranger Raptor someone mentioned to me enjoy paying for a shock/strut replacement. I had asked why and they said because it is a couple grand. I was like ouch. Of course I was ignorant so looked around and saw here that sending in to Fox was the way to go.

Anyway seems reasonable to send them in just making sure I understand it correctly. I'm a ways away from that but knowing is half the battle :D

The only thing I'm unsure about is if any "reprogramming" has to be done upon reinstall.
