I think an xlt is the best buy for the money, though I didn't watch either video.
I wrote a list of what I actually used/needed versus what I wanted and the stx covered it all with the 2.3.
I just should have gotten the 4x4 version and my wife says I should have gotten heated seats.
So I got a heated pad for her side that slid in under the nice seat cover.
To bad I can't easily add 4x4 though. I still would have not actually used it once the whole time I have had this truck but sometimes I like to put the wife's jeep in 4x4 and drive through the yard so I could say I used it.
And we may actually need it some day if my older son gets stationed somewhere else that gets snow and we go visit when it snows. Luckily, each time we have gone to Omaha to visit him, it has never snowed.
