I live on the West Coast and just got off the phone with my Dealer and they've heard nothing about about this bulletin of changing from stock to retail.

It probably doesn't affect me since I ended up #2 in line, but he said my order is still shows as a stock order.

It’s definitely a shit show, my order was placed May 26th as a retail order, priority 10. Then six days later my dealer GM emailed me & said that my order had to be changed to stock & it wouldn’t be price protected as such. Now we’re going back to retail? WTF Ford?!?!

Total shit show by Ford yet again. My dealer is putting my order in as both stock and retail and letting me have whichever is scheduled first. What a joke this process has become.

This has lost my order on a suv. Went with another manufacturer after this crud.

Why is everyone getting all hot and bothered at this point. I would sit back and wait a little bit longer till job one begins to see how the scenario is going to play out.

Getting this emotionally invested in an item that just doesn't even exist yet seems a little premature.

What I would like to know is if the people who had the original dealer stock allocation … that is now getting changed back to retail “potentially” will have precedence over all the other retail orders that were already put in? Like are the people who got the orders in first just going to be thrown in with everyone else who ordered after. Maybe there are so few orders it doesn’t matter.

This is a great question. I was wondering the same myself. Not sure if Ford can/will distinguish between the original stock orders and those who ordered as retail from the very beginning. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

My dealer just switched my stock Raptor order to retail, apparently per Ford's most recent bulletin. As such, I received an order email directly from Ford and am now price protected. Can anyone confirm this bulletin? I haven't seen it myself, but the dealership GM assured me Ford gave clear instructions.

I would like to see this bulletin before I bug my dealer and confuse the issue further. Did this apply to the stock orders related to the dealers’ allocation or those beyond the allocation? Wiw has Ford made thus difficult=LT or what?

Saw it this morning. It exists. My dealer is putting my order in as a stock and as a retail to catch it either way. Ford has been so wishy washy and inconsistent that we are covering our bases, as who knows now which they'll pull first. My dealer will just cancel the order that isn't schefuled, once we see which that is.

What an absolute mess created by Ford yet again.
