Saw it this morning. It exists. My dealer is putting my order in as a stock and as a retail to catch it either way. Ford has been so wishy washy and inconsistent that we are covering our bases, as who knows now which they'll pull first. My dealer will just cancel the order that isn't schefuled, once we see which that is.

What an absolute mess created by Ford yet again.
Since you seem to know a lot of whats going on, any idea why they are doing this?

Only thing I can guess is this is to accommodate all of the retail orders that were inadvertently allowed early in the process and for the dealers who didn't seem to see that initial bulletin.

They still get just 1 stock order initially, but this gives Ford an idea of the pent up demand for retail raptors as well.

So I'd guess it's to try to correct the ordering mess that they created and to get a sense of commodities that will be needed going forward.

My big question now is what order is Ford going to prioritize for the one raptor order each dealer gets, as this latest bulletin didn't address this at all.

As someone suggested earlier, I wonder if this is a change to the 1 allocation only plan they initially had. Considering there were only 1800 regular Ranger orders, and they probably saw double that in Raptor orders, Ford probably had to shift their strategy?

No, as a bulletin came out stating they still only get one and further allocation will be calculated and distributed later in q3 or q4

Yeah if so, your point about which order is going to get pulled first now is very relevant. It's almost like a complete crap shoot now. So many back and forth, everything changing from week to week.

I'm trying hard not to get over emo about this, but this process has really put a major damper in my excitement I had at initial launch.

Between this and my bronco ordering process.[first day reservation]. I'm not a really a Ford person anymore. Heck, i even have an over two year old maverick order for my dad, i cant get built that I'm canceling and buying a competitive make instead now. If not for the hideous red interior in the 2024 trd pro tacoma, I'd be going that direction.

And I'm dumping my first edition bronco Pronto, as after wtg almost two years to get a very poor quality vehicle has not settled well with me. I'm moving on from it with a different brand and vehicle segment.

After growing up in a Ford dealership it's hard to be so negative on Ford, but with how they've been handling customers, their poor quality issues, etc. I think I'll be moving in other directions for a while.

If and when my Raptor is ever built, it will be very hard not to let it go, but... since it's the only thing like it, I guess I'll look it over and drive it first before I stray away.

Very disappointed with Ford lately.

Total shit show by Ford yet again. My dealer is putting my order in as both stock and retail and letting me have whichever is scheduled first. What a joke this process has become.

This has lost my order on a suv. Went with another manufacturer after this crud.
My dealer done the same thing pit one in as each but just messaged me and said I was switched to code 03. He said that's highest priority possible. We shall see!

I was initially excited about this news because I thought it meant Ford would change their mind and build more Raptors to fulfill the retail demand. Now I'm more nervous that this will end up delaying things even further.

I can confirm that my dealer also did the same thing and put it in as both.

Highest priority code possible is 01. Not sure how you got to 03 as that typically requires the intervention of FMC themselves. Dealers cannot assign a priority code higher than 10.

I'm not sure but I will stop by and ask to see it. This is what he told me.

It's possible that a regional rep could assign that priority. I guess I need to reach out to my dealership and see if they can do the same for mine. That will get your order pulled first from your dealership and put you ahead of everyone else when Ford starts scheduling.
