2025 Ranger - Bed 12 Volt Outlet - Final Update

Thanks for the discovery and guidance on this one. I ordered the OEM replacement part for my ‘25 and it should be here Friday. I’ll report back, install looks to be straight forward.

It was on my 2025 XLT. It appears to be the same for many others.

If you have the bed ac outlet, then yes, this has been a plug and play update for the 25
I don’t know if anyone has done a 26 yet. To verify that 12 volts is still wired to the connector underneath.

you could snap a picture and verify 6 wires are running to it.

it Is the red and green on this connector that carry’s the 12 v so hopefully your plug underneath has corresponding wiring.

it should have purple and black as shown.

@They Call Me Bruce correct for my 2025 RR. The OEM 2024 panel is prewired from a connector. I simply removed the existing panel (4 screws), followed the wired into the inside of the bed rail, removed two support clips (there are two replacements already on the new part), and pulled the connector apart from underneath the truck next to the exhaust. Followed the same steps in reverse to install the new one.

I can confirm the 2026 harness works as well. I didn’t use the OE 2024 panel, but added my own pins to the panel-side harness

The wires you need for the 12v are the ones at the top of the connector in your picture (with the white seals). The blanks on these connectors are blue plugs

Yes you have the wires.

My 2024 stx doesnt have a blank plug with a cover in it. The one i think it goes to has a plug into it with two wires coming out the cover side.

Is this the plug? What do those tiny wires do?
