kk, thank you. Maybe I'll figure out adding an inverter under the driver's seat down the road

Did your STX come with a blank panel to start? Did you have pre wiring behind it you could tap into?

Lucky you! No such thing on mine. Seems like the 24 STXs were particularly neutered. I am currently designing a custom circuit from the accessory terminals on the battery block and marine grade stuff like Blue Sea switch panel, Scanstrut 12v, and some custom lighting. Jealous of you folks plug and playing!

120v wont work without the inverter under the driver seat.

First Mod! Installed and works great! Wanted a 12v socket for my paddle board pump. Minus all the dirt I got in my eyes this was a super easy install. Replacement even comes with wire loom clips installed.

I was interested in 1 12v cigarette outlet and 2 USBC outlets. Not so much the 400W. Can I use the same connector and air my own plug to tap in?

You can if you keep the total load under 180 watts (15 amps) at 12VDC.

I am still trying to figure out if the panel you all are ordering will work on my OCT 25 Ranger XLT.

Here is the back of my current AC only panel. The connecting pin assembly is not immediately behind the panel as shown in Dino Jockey's post #41. My connector is down near the driver side area of the bed. See posts # 95. I must be missing something. If the replacement panel arrives with a pin connector assembly close to the back of the panel, I don't think it would reach to where my current pin connector assembly is. And, there is no pin connector assembly in the space between the bed wall and the driver side rear fender.

Am I just overlooking something?

When you buy the new panel it will have a foot long or so connection that is designed to drop down behind the new panel and feed between the body of the truck and the frame. It then connects to the connector next to the frame. If you follow the wires down from your current panel, you should find a place where you’re able to unplug it from the connection. It should plug into the same connection.

It’s only the top connector in the picture I sent. Not the bottom connector. The one with the orange wires is from the back of the new panel that connects to the plug on the frame.
