Just got my 2025 RR in October, currently around 3,700 miles. I had the tune installed about a month ago by the dealer and that’s about the extent of the mods. Been running great since day one….until I pulled into the driveway a few days ago and, when braking and before putting it in park, the truck starts shaking and sputtering and dies out. I saw the check engine light flicker a few times. Tried starting 3 or 4 times and it would start up and just die out. (yes, my gas tank was full). Had to have it towed to the dealer. Dealer got a bunch of error codes about cylinders misfiring. The next morning the truck is perfectly fine, and the dealer did nothing to it. Now they can’t duplicate the error but they know something is wrong. So it’s day three and probably won’t see it until next week unless they can get it to replicate the error. Kudos to the dealer as they said they won’t turn it back to me until they diagnose the issue. They’ve been on the line with Ford Engineers so who knows where this goes. They did ask for my calibration kit in case they have to revert it back to stock.
‘lord I hope I don’t regret this purchase…….

Hopefully it was just a one time ECM brain fart.

I had something like that happen to a Focus ST. Turned out to be an issue with the ECU. They had to replace the ECU then it was all good.

Could be a bad spark plug or fuel injector.
My dad had something similar happen to his truck and it was a bad injector.

If I were to throw this on Polymarket or Kalshi, I'd wager on bad coil pack/packs or a bad injector(s).
I had this exact same experience with my VW Golf R a few years ago, multiple times. They'd misdiagnose (and even replaced a coil pack on the noted cylinder), but "couldn't replicate" the problem. They'd send me home, it would happen again, they couldn't replicate it, send me home, rinse, repeat. The codes were coming back as misfires, but they wouldn't actually try anything without it actually happening at the dealer. I finally reached the end of my rope and told them it was time for legal counsel. The service manager finally said "can I take it home for the night and try to replicate?" Finally....! I said yeah, drive it like it belongs to your least favorite in-law and get back to me. What do you know, it conked out on he limped it 30 miles in to the dealer and they found the bad injector.

Got a call from the dealer today and they said Ford in Detroit is recommending they replace the injector on the misfiring cylinder. They’re 95% certain that’s the issue. So the part won’t come in until Tuesday and they said I’ll get it back Friday after they’ve tested it. The dealer has really been great to deal with. They even gave me a brand new F150 to drive for a week😁. And it’s reminded me of why I have the smaller truck.🤣.

I had similar symptoms on one of my other vehicles when a rodent chewed on a couple wires. Was a pain to trouble shoot / diagnose and was very intermittent. Didn't chew all the way through, but just enough to cause all sort of sputtering, cutting out and error codes. Mostly cylinder pressure codes and misfires.
