I think it's a great feature. My previous vehicle was a VW GTI which had it.
I tried holding it down thinking no way it will all go down and to my surprise it did!
I'm wondering if the Ranger inherited some features (parts bin) from the Amarok connection?
Perfect for hot weather.

Not sure if I am lucky, but I would only use the feature in hot weather. My 2019 Bullitt has it and I use it in hot weather. I also like being able to lock the car and close the windows from outside.

I understand about the Global Opening and Closing. It is found under the "window" section. My Ranger is missing the "window" option.

My 24 Lariat is supposed to have that feature, but it doesn't. Took it to the dealer to have see why. They checked it, and sure enough I am missing the feature. Service tech said mine is the first he'd seen. I'm wondering if I'm missing a chip.
You're not alone, mine is missing it too, and others as well. (Mine was built around 8/7/24) Reported it to the dealer in October and they made Ford aware, they're working on a fix. Followed up a few weeks ago and was told they are 'very close' to having a fix. Was told this may be fixed in a future over the air update, but last conversation sounded like I'd need to bring it in to the dealer. Hopefully anytime now. This feature is not on all Rangers, just Lariats and certain trim options on XLT, but not sure. And maybe on all Raptors.

Interesting, Steve. My Build date was 8/25/24. I spoke to the sales manager about it in October and he said he would pass it on to the service manager. I might give them a call and see what they say.

July 24 build here, and I don't have it either. My theory is that it has something to do with that window recall.

Its on xl trim also. I have it and hate it. Up and down both work by the fob lock and unlock buttons.

Its a setting you can turn on and off in forscan, also. It is called global windows in the bcmc, i think is where i saw it

in EU this feature is optional, you have to pay 50$ to add it...I questioned it when I firstly bought the truck and dealer clearly gifted it for free questioning ford policy too
