To be clear, you have to be in off-road mode to display them, correct?I can display oil pressure, trans temp, and boost on my XLT, through the off-road menu - vehicle gauges.
Your oil pressure is variable and controlled by ECU. It's how it varies cam timing thru the cam phasers.
IIRC, it's in the Off Road menu, but you can select it to be in MY View, so that whenever you select My View, it will display that screen. To be clear, you have to be in off-road mode to display them, correct?
I have an FX4 XLT and would love to be able to display them outside of that mode.
So I think I misunderstood or misread your statement earlier. Yes, I have those bar graphs in "my view" but I want actual numbers, not just the graphs.IIRC, it's in the Off Road menu, but you can select it to be in MY View, so that whenever you select My View, it will display that screen.
I think the numbered display for oil and temp is a Raptor exclusive. So I think I misunderstood or misread your statement earlier. Yes, I have those bar graphs in "my view" but I want actual numbers, not just the graphs.
Makes sense. Hence why I'm looking at getting an OBDII Port Bluetooth deviceI think the numbered display for oil and temp is a Raptor exclusive.
OBD Link MX+ with their app is Android auto compatible. when you open the app on the radio, it automatically makes your phone connect. you can only display 4 pods at a time while driving, when parked its 7 or 8? but you can set up multiple screens for 4 at a time. Volts included. the mx+ gets you all the enhanced diagnostics updates for free, vs the mx, where theybare like 20 bucks each. but you can watch the oil pressure on the off road screen too. with truck set in metric, it displays in bar tho. with is set to imperial you do get psi.Makes sense. Hold up! I can display trans temp, oil temp, coolant temp and something else on the screen while I'm driving!?OBD Link MX+ with their app is Android auto compatible. when you open the app on the radio, it automatically makes your phone connect. you can only display 4 pods at a time while driving, when parked its 7 or 8? but you can set up multiple screens for 4 at a time. boost, trans temp, and oil pressure in the off road menu on the instrument cluster. yes. then in the cluster settings you can add the rpm to the left, and oil temp to the right.Hold up! I can display trans temp, oil temp, coolant temp and something else on the screen while I'm driving!?
I have an OBDLink MX+ but didn't know it is AA compatible. Can it display gauges? Or just data as shown?boost, trans temp, and oil pressure in the off road menu on the instrument cluster. yes. then in the cluster settings you can add the rpm to the left, and oil temp to the right.
so you can have in left to right coolant temp, rpm, speed, boost, engine oil pressure, trans temp, engine oil temp, gas. thats without using any obd scanners.

You get 4 pids while in motion like this. but you can see my above theres like 7 or 8 on the one page you can look at while stopped in park, or neutral. a few weeks ago I found I can set up sepperate pages and scroll through them while driving.I have an OBDLink MX+ but didn't know it is AA compatible. Does anyone do the flooded start method to build oil pressure prior to starting. Basically hit the on/start button without touching the brake pedal. This will bring up the gauges and let you see the oil pressure. Next put your foot on the brake pedal and hold the gas pedal all the way down. This will allow the engine and oil pump to prime the oil galleries. The starter turns the engine about 300 RPM. 2-3 seconds and the oil pressure gauge shows 21.8PSI. Let your foot off of the gas pedal and the engine starts. I really don’t think the fuel injectors open until you let off of the gas pedal. I hope it doesn’t. Anyway can someone comment please.Have a new 2025 Ranger Raptor with 1000 miles. The oil pressure gauge indicates around 25% if low was zero and H was 100% When driving at 2200 rpm it runs in the low 30's. When near full pedal it runs 55%.
For sure it never goes into L but wondered are others seeing similar readings.
Still on break-in in oil and level is full.
